@@ICONICPARIS Thank you, Pierre .... I was one of those dancers .... Vanity, her management, myself, my colleagues and our choreographer (the legendary Franco Miseria) all worked very well and hard those days .... Vanity was very happy to work with us, she loved spending time in Italy and she was a guest in a luxury hotel in Rome for 3 days. .... Vanity was shy, polite, humble, a very nice lady and stunningly beautiful. .... I took the opportunity to have dinner with her on her last day in Rome. I kept in contact with her for many years afterwards and I visited her in Ontario (Canada) and Fremont (California, USA) twice ....Great professional and personal memories for me and everyone involved ... I was very sad when Vanity passed away in 2016 ... Ciao.

I like this song ..Vanity herself said she couldnt sing but i think. she had a decent voice ..her voice definetly fits this song .She looks beautiful and her out fit is cute especially her skirt ..I dont think ALL.of those male dancers were needed ...Yes that is the same beat Cameo used for their song 'Word Up' .
@STEJTHEGREATEST3 жыл бұрын
Most prominently, I'd say there were aspects of Word Up to it, but I think there were also traces of Bobby Brown's On Our Own, Forget Me Nots by Patrice Rushen, and rhythm nation by janet jackson to a very slight degree. Not that I'm saying Denise needed to copy anyone or anything, I mean when you think about it, lots of songs borrow from each other, and have similarities!!!!! And I think Denise was a way better person than janet jackson. Plus, this came out before rhythm nation!!!

I loved the dancers, they certainly could move and they had great energy, but they were utilized in an awkward way. The scarf play just didn't work. However, if the dancers had a section where they danced in unison behind Vanity, it would've brought the house down.
