Frank jusy blew me away when I first head him in the mid to lat 70s. The whole band was so tight. So under appreciated it made us sick. The music smoked and it showed how few people understood how talented he really was. He could shred with the best and had a groove of his own. Check out "Dragonfly or World Anthem" from the live album. Amazing.

Imaginaerum was, without doubt, one of NW best albums, and I like what Anette is doing with The Dark Element... ...but... She was not a good choice for Nightwish. Her voice did not fit. Listening to her sing Dark Chest Of Wonders and Slaying The Dreamer is just painful.

You can't help but get the sense that Sammy Hagar really cared about Ronnie. Even after how Ronnie sort of threw him out of the band, Sammy never forgot where he got his start. It's sort of a pity that they jest never reformed the band on some limited basis and did like 30 shows a year, just to keep it going. Ronnie certainly had the ability to write another Montrose album. I guess his depression really kept him bottled up and negative about positive things. Sammy stated countless times that he wanted that but Ronnie just wouldn't commit to it. Seeing them all on stage, Ronnie looks like he's having the time of his life. Sincerely, rest in peace, Ronnie.

The video is a little messed up, but the sound is amazing. Ronnie had the tone 6 years before EVH. He also came up with the guitar intro on "Free Ride" by The Edgar Winter Group when he was in the band for a year. Laughed when Ronnie pointed at Bill during the lyric "steal your soul" on the 'I got the fire" song. Rumor has it Bill busted up his and Ronnie's marriages during the second album tour. That's why Bill left before Paper Money came out. Guess Ronnie forgive him after 40 years, sort of...lol Ronnie also had his issues, ran Sammy off later too. Ego thing. And of course took his own life a few years back Still, an amazing talent

I'm 63. Saw this man when I was 15. I've seen hundreds of shows. Frank Marino is the one show I have never forgotten. Hearing "Electric Reflections of War" is a moment in time I will cherish forever. 48 years later I'm still asking myself, how the fuck did he do that with a guitar? Still amazed! Marino forever!
