Danny Jo is one of my idols but seeing that jug go up in the air w the beer chaser just breaks my heart. I know it's Rock n Roll but it's also deadly and we have lost so many greats this way and others. Rest in peace DJB🙏❤️

wow, super rare video from this era. I saw them a few weeks earlier in Connecticut. Kenny Holton on drums, Eric Lundgren (Johnny Van Zant band) on guitar opposite Bobby.

Dude, I think the guy opposite Bobby is Rick Blanz not Eric Lundgren.

Got to know the original band well in the 80s all over the south! Danny, Dave, Duane Bruce, John, and Riff. And BB Borden. (drummer for a while ) DJB was a damn nice fellow! They all were. Met Big Hair Bobby a few times and am not a fan. He’s still riding the Hatchet Wave. Although All original guys have passed on sadly. Love MY MH !!!

Notable for the rarities like Shake the House Down and Heart of my Soul. This was one of the first outings after Duane left and DJB is in fine form. As mentioned in other comments, he's drinking hard which was really what killed him. However, if you knew Danny, you know that Jack was as important as breathing to him. He gave us a lot, and as sad as it turned out, I don't think he'd have had it any other way.
