Have you tried going up to a stump and splitting it with it? I’ve seen there’s new stump splitting tools, and I’m curious it it would be easier than grinding them

Hey Andrew, what is the max height of this unit, trying to figure out what height of a garage door it will go under for storage in the off season, thanks. Very interested. Troy

Got and ran my Axis 2.0. WOW what a machine. I love my original Axis, this machine takes it to another level. WTG Eastonmade. My old Axis is for sale, and I will be picking up a 22-28.

I too use a pickaroon, but when the wood is right next to the machine, it is simply easier to lift it and place on the lift with your hands! Once it is out of arms reach, then the pickaroon makes sense. I do not like that you have to twist it around to place each log tho.

Love the upgrades. Noticed it in the intro. That lip is a game changer. If you have anyone wanting to upgrade in Midwest I'm looking to upgrade. Take care. Merry Xmas

I cannot emphasize how important it is to saw you rounds as straight as you possibly can. If you have a log to jump out and hit you in the belly you will saw with precision from then on. Happy customer in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Just wondering if the cycle time has been increased on the new model. I have the 600 series Axis and it seems mine is a bit slower than the new Axis. Not complaing because it's hard enough to keep up with the production as it is. Lol
@EastonmadeWoodSplitters10 күн бұрын
It is quite a bit quicker

I see the conveyor pivots now, that’s sweet. Is there any way you could make the base of the conveyor more like the processor with big side wings on it, and the wood could fall into it. Seems like a bottleneck in the operation to have to wait for it to go up the conveyor to get it to take all the pieces. Great machine Andrew and team!

The ash i split here don't look like that. Sure it's ash cause are splits easier than that and looks good

For those folks unhappy they didn't get this lip on the log lift, weld one on yours. If you can't do that, bolt some angle iron it. It'll do the same thing.

With my bad back I would say yes. With the rear mounted blowers, I'd have to twist my back to look out the rear window. If I had a long driveway, that would not be good on my back.
