For my fleece lined tights, I searched for “plus size fleece tights” on Amazon and chose the ones with the highest review, it was a two pack and I’ve only gone through one pair so far so I’m quite happy with them! That’s totally valid, it’s definitely not an activity most people would consider flying specifically to a place just for the night for, but it’s something I’ve enjoyed doing as music is so important to me, and if I get to witness my favourite bands of all time live, I’d happily fly somewhere for a day

@@lifeofdanie no, I've learned it's not all that unusual. I have a friend who does it, but since I started reading thru the comments of online travel vloggers I've discovered it isn't that unusual at all. It's just not something I could see myself doing (even with someone else). But I've done plenty of other crazy or unusual things in my travels. Everyone has different priorities. I think the point is tho, that we shouldn't be afraid (or feel awkward) about doing things solo that society tells us are odd to do solo. As a shift worker I learned this one long ago. It can be very difficult to get weekends off to go see or do things with friends, so if you don't learn to go on your own, you'll miss out on heaps of stuff

I used to definitely struggle with uneven liner, but it’s been by daily go to for so many years I can do it in my sleep at this point! And the Korean lip product was the Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint, I have them in almost every colour but I believe that was shade Figfig!

Highly recommend any lip product by Rom&nd in general, can’t go wrong! Figfig and Plum Coke are my daily shades though as someone that loves wearing darker lip colours

A little makeup definitely can elevate an outfit, I agree! I’ve really been happy with this custom palette, such a great way to reduce waste by not getting items you’re not going to use while having everything in one, thinking of getting a cream blush refill to put into the palette so it would double as a lipstick as well! So many possibilities

If you've watched her packing video about her makeup you can get a pretty good idea how much space this saves. That was a pretty big bag by my standards (I'm so not a makeup gal, altho I have to admit this intrigues me)

While I agree (and that's how I travel) I like watching Danie's take on things. She helps me think about packing from a different perspective. I find it good to think outside (my) box, when it comes to packing. Also, she's been travelling in Europe for many years so I feel like she has credible input in terms of style

You can pack however you like! There aren’t that many rules as to what needs to go where, besides liquid rules for carryons. I just never bring a checked suitcase, so all my makeup is always in my carry on

@leahdisher great question! I just did a house sit in Edinburgh which has always been a favourite of mine to go to but I’ve never house sat in which was super fun, would love to do the Nordic countries as well as Asia, but those are rarer to find!

Great question! Really depends on if you value style over practicality or not, I usually go back and forth depending on the trip 😅 one time I spend 2 months in Europe in the fall with just a leather jacket 😂 but realistically I often pack a foldable water resistant jacket with me nowadays and depending on the activities/location either something really warm like a wool trench or jean jackets

@@lifeofdanie so would you say take a water resistant jacket and focus the warmth on more so what you wear underneath vs trying to accomplish both in the jacket?

You can either focus on the warmth underneath the jacket with sweaters, knowing that is bulky to pack, or wear one bulky warm jacket on the plane so you don’t have to pack it and know you can wear anything underneath, I usually switch between those two tactics depending on what I’m planning to do at my destination and if it is always cold and rainy, or there will be good warmer days

I love simply exploring cities whenever I go, london is always a favourite, even walking through Hyde park, or along the Thames is amazing. And then if you go by London Bridge, you have to go to Borough Market nearby for amazing food. Definitely check out Portobello market on the weekends too! Also highly recommend going to Greenwich, it’s a nice bus ride from london, but it’s such a cute town and if you buy a tour of the university of Greenwich campus and old Royal naval college, they show you around all the places movies filmed there (including Bridgerton and many others!) as well as access into beautiful Painted Hall, which was a highlight!

Yeah, I pretty much avoid taking jeans at all these days. Just too heavy and take up too much space. My one caveat would be if I were doing a trip that I expected to be rough on my clothes. Nothing holds up quite like denim
