Skelmersdale only reached half of the planned population it was designed for, it was laid out on a grid Milton Keynes style but a lot of the grid areas were just never developed. So the Council is actually planning to rip up some roads as unnecessary as they isolate communities with physical barriers and force car usage to get around like US cities. For instance the council desires a rail station close to the centre of town and the tracks connecting it to the Kirkby line would replace a dual carriageway.

It can be a bit hard to hear you talking when your sat at the back of a diesel bus due to the engine thrum, possibly consider dubbing these parts over views out the window or something?

The actual location of the bus stop for the ice rink irl is between the two buildings opposite what was toys r us/old covid vaccination centre (don't know what's there now but it's on olympian drive, definitely not on the roundabout like bustimes suggests lol)

I rode that exact same 327 (12184) on the same day, just in the morning from Brinnington to Denton

I’m not a fan of the 347, got on one from Denton to Ashton yesterday, scanned my weekly ticket, took my seat and then the driver said the ticket was fake and “I ain’t going anywhere until you pay for your ticket!” when clearly it was real (the bee moves left and right when scanning an online ticket if it’s real). Never getting a 347 again!

Most of my elderly buses are being used on contract working in my city bus manager save with the newer buses doing public service runs. 😁
