Very nice story, thanks. I hope they are able to make the film about Beatrice Hill Tinsley. I enjoy biographies of pioneers in science, apart from their contributions to science there is the life of the person behind it all to appreciate.

Good treat with the blowing bubbles scene ! There are some nice mechanisms with balls dropping down and deflected left or right, worth looking up.

I pretty quickly easily solved the counting ones question he got wrong and was really happy about my Idea. A question asked to a kid twelve years ahead of me… (Every tenth number has to be a 1. If we start at 00000, 00001, 00002… and end at 99.999 that’s 10.000 numbers. So n= (10.000/10)*5 (digits)) I saw the solution of the mathematician after my solution but I guess that’s the „elegant way“)

I'm disappointed. I expected the view to be filled with sheep. Only one sheep scene. Are you really in New Zealand? PS I'm not really disappointed. I just subscribed, even if you're not really in New Zealand.

Ramanujan was a great genius and we lost him at a very early age. He proved many unproven theories in his 20s. he was ahead of his time . He was also a deeply religious man with psychological problems. He got tuberculosis because of his piety.

That's also how you find the harmonic series when applied to a string, except it has 1 and 1/2 also in it

So it is a double, if we see a basketball going through a sheet of paper, we would observe it contacting the sheet of paper as a dot then graduate to a circle to the highest circumference then back to a dot. That is us as 3D observing it's effect on the 2D world. Then 4th dimension is time, so it is undescribeable.

What you show does make sense with the exception of aim. It seems that you are aiming only in the dimensions that you can see. Is that true? If so, does that mean that there is always a dimension that you cannot be aiming in? If so, when aiming in 3 dimensions, can you only accelerate the ball in those 3 dimensions and not in the 4th?
