When wandering around doing general purchases I would keep an eye out for things my loved ones would enjoy and or want. I could never poach an egg, but ladt year I learned. I found the trick to be... use a shallow pan! Like a frying pan... that way, you can easily get a rolling boil, and it should still cover the egg. 1. Bring a pan of water to a rolling boil. Add salt. Add a good teaspoon of vinegar. 2. Crack egg into pan! Cook until it seems cooked and the casing of the yolk has got a little bit of a whitish film across it. I wasted my time with egg poachers and bags... this is the best way! I enjoy your creative cookery! It makes me feel inspired to stop potentially wasting food.

Hello Ru and Jack, When I crush garlic I put the skins in the stock bag in the freezer because I want to save every bit of flavour. after I make the stock (with bones and other peelings) i then compost all the veg matter and the bones (if you cook them 24 hours to extract everything) can be ground up for doggos and kitty cats. I like Waitrose. It’s out of my budget range right now but I have been a few times in the past and I find their cheapest range is really good albeit not as cheap as other supermarkets like Aldi or Lidl of course. But I would go if I’m looking for something particular or obscure as you put it.. they have my favourite bread, the Vogel’s soya and linseed bread from New Zealand. And the piadina that you bought which is one of my favourite breads from my Country. I love them exactly as you made them with the Parma ham, rocket and mozzarella, perfect! I love strawberries, next summer when they’re in proper season and taste much sweeter and are cheaper, you should try them with a drizzle of Balsamic vinegar like they do in Italy. ❤

I think all tips should have shops attached or nearby. The number of times I've been throwing stuff away & seen people throwing perfectly good furniture, dinner sets, beds etc. I've been when people have been throwing away practically new furniture & said why not give it to a charity shop? They say its easier to take it to the tip🤔🤷‍♀️ I young woman (mid 20's) was throwing a bed, bedding (including pillows, duvet, cushions) sofa, chairs, coffee table & sideboard. I said it all looks new surely you could have put it on ebay or something. She said she'd just split up with her boyfriend & wanted it all gone! We then complain about so much waste & landfill!!! It makes more sense to me to have shops at the tip or people to donate to charity shops, but they can't wait a day or two for items to be collected or some shops don't have room for larger items. At least when I threw my furniture out it was 20 years old & my old cat had clawed it all & it was beyond recovering.

Check the glass dish as it may be for ovens, not like microwaves. Found that out the hard way 😊🇦🇺
