Remove the heater matrix and put in a t7design light weight heater. You can save a lot of weight that way in the front. It’s a big job though as you need to take out the dash. Would also recommend doing what you said and re locating the battery into the boot

are you going to ac compressor delete that with increase the air available to the engine. I've taken my car apart completely and for the doors you could get a sheet of aluminum place it on the door instead of all the electronics. Some polycarbonate is pretty good I wouldn't know how much weight savings it is but its pretty pricy. It would be super cool to test your aero kit one day with some basic tuffs and also undertray to clean up that underbelly airflow with an actual diffuser. fixed Bucket seat would be another thing to add just so you can handle the car a bit better. The dashboard is got to be at least 5 kilos as I bought one from a wrecker for that car. smaller battery and less electronics. probably already know all these but would love a video about it. love your videos bro keep it up.

Ive seen places making full carbon pre facelift Front wings / fenders and also bonnets / Hood's and another way to save some weight you can get a non wide body style WRC front bumper for pre face as well

Remove the front Door speakers, passenger seat, empty out glove box, relocate battery to boot for better weight distribution, empty washer fluid bottle, just be careful if you remove seatbelts and rear seats and door cards and trim that you’ll fail your next WoF with those items removed

How's the sound with the res delete? I daily my mk5 r32 and want more noise but dont want any exhaust drone

I drive an Opel Corsa C z12XE and here is what I can say: #5 - don't know the issue, doesn't happen in my car at all. The radio remembers that it's been turned of or one after reignition. I have a different radio model in my car, however, so it might be the reason for that. #4 - Yep. Getting into the back seat is a b**ch in a 3-door version. No questions about that one. #3 - again - I don't have a problem with that lock in my Corsa C. Put the key in: horizontal is open, vertical is closed, pressing the nub opens it up. Don't usually use the key, since my version has a central lock and the only situations I manually lock anything is when I pull out the battery. #2 - Now I see you've got a mod there, with that cone filter, but what might be the cause of the bad idle problem is a dirty throttle. You might want to remove the air intake, unscrew the throttle and clean the butterfly valve and the canal from any dirt and carbon. Afterword, you should force the ECU to reset its values for the throttle, by removing the negative clamp for 10 min (while leaving the positive on) and then reataching it, turning the key to on and waiting for the ECU to calibrate. You'll hear a wheezing and squeaking sound from where the throttle is, which is fine. The you can start the car and see if the idle stabilises. Don't forget to set the time, date and radio code after the reset. #1 - Can't say much about that one, except that in the 6th gear solution that you proposed, a mistake during a 5-to-4 change might end with a money shift. Having commented on all that, I think I'll add that what annoys me personally about this car is the placement of the car's battery right under the windowsill drainage grate. Weather it's a rainy day or you're just washing your car, there'll be water pouring directly onto your car battery - by design.

Whats it like on long open roads like motorways? Is there any drone? Im on my 3rd exhast system now as i can't quite find the right one. Ive got the full miltek system at the minute and was wondering about having the same done as you have.

Replace your tank and cap too if you haven’t already! And like the comment says above get the factory Ford ones for the heater matrix I’m pretty sure Jamie at OEM denied keeps them on the shelf

You need the twist lock connectors mate , I learnt the hard way. Mine were one piece matrix hoses and were jublieed straight onto the alloy pipes on the bulkhead coolant leaked all down inside the firewall and soaked drivers footwell made a mess. Do yourself a favour and fit them back on mate you'll thank me later 👍🏼 good luck
