I use high range on the road. The key is to slowly build speed if you use autothrottle.If you jump on the pedal off the hopp it will fall on it's face. Alternatively you could throttle up with dash lever to high rpms prior to depressing the foot pedal. I love my 2515. People who see it can't believe what it can lift. I use it mostly to lift logs onto the sawmill.

Would like to see a comparison of the 4820 and the 494/574. TYM has too many models that overlap due to Branson models. They also have a t554 that is close to 494/574 but it has Yanmar engine??

I looked at a 2024 model t494 and it had lights mounted on the rollbar... ..this 574 doesnt. Is this the standard location for the lights down on the fenders???......this is a much better place than how it was on that 494.

Good info. I agree with everything except on the liners. A solid block can be prone to pinholes from cavation, unless you add a coolant treatment. I have had several blocks board and sleeved when this has happened.

Thank you for this video. A lot of new information what I did not know. I have one question about new TYM tractor models. Do you perhaps know what engine is used for these newer TYM tractors for example TYM F50RN Compact, Series 2 48 hp tractor? Is it still reliable Kukje diesel engine or something else which are new line of engines what TYM has created? Thanks.

I love the simplicity. What sucks about this is, like the DOC stuff, if this barely scrapes by current emissions regulations (or at least it seems like). If the EPA moves the goal post even a step TYM/Kukje won't have an answer for a 35-60HP engine in the U.S. What are your thoughts on this?

Did I understand you correctly... a 48HP motor is available on the 2515? Does that mean it HAS the emissions & DPF??
@RK-db4oq2 ай бұрын
ALL diesels above 25hp have emissions. SOME above that don't have a DPF, but they heavily rely on high pressure fuel lines and lots of complicated hoses, computers and electronics to achieve that.

Honestly I wish I had both lol love my 474 but sometimes I have to move some heavy stuff and the 474 just don’t quite have the weight to move stuff without adding a lot of weight on the rear end and then I’m scared I’m gonna break something. But it definitely has the power.

Spot on...just bought a used 2515,high range is completely useless,and although it's a front loader is a beast,it's sketchy lifting that much on it,im definitely adding ballast in tires asap

Hi, it’s Tom. Where are you located with your dealer?
@dallasdavis32465 ай бұрын
you are gonna have condensation in any high pressure fuel system the pump builds up heat in the fuel and when returned to the tank hot and left to sit overnight it will condensate best to keep extra fuel filters around and change often such as every oil change or atleast every other oil change
@dallasdavis32465 ай бұрын
those rubber orings at filter housing should be changed every filter change no rubber o ring will stand up to the turning of the bowl and fuel

The exact three tractors I am considering...this was very helpful. I do see some folks questioning whether hydrostatic transmissions will hold up to heavier plowing and the like...I would have never even worried about that until seeing a few posts about it, so maybe it is an issue vs shuttles.

Why do you think liners leaking is a common thing? I found this interesting because, I have very little experience with tractors newer than the 1960's, and I am considering buying a new compact with a loader. One thought that didn't make sense to me was when you stated talking about sleeves being a problem, maybe new gaskets are junk, blocks are not held in the same tolerances(which should be better with todays technology), heck maybe we just got lucky, but I have worked on and used 5 tractors ranging from 35 to 94 hp and none of them had sleeve issues with regards to leaking coolant into the crankcase. All of them have gone past 10,000 hours by now and their motors we have torn into during my life had bearing wear or broke a spring and dropped a valve or excessive blowby or blown head gasket.

Looking at a 474 cab but don't like the plastic hood. Does the DPF heat affect that plastic over time? A little worried that a replacement hood will be available down the road if it does. I would have bought it yesterday if it had a metal hood.
