The TYM T25 is rated for 1390lbs of loader lift capacity. How much can it actually lift?
The T25 is the most popular tractor in the TYM lineup and boasts one of the highest loader lift capacities on the market. In this video we demonstrate how many 50lbs bags of salt it can actually lift.
The TYM T25 is the same tractor as the Rural King RK25 and competes directly against John Deere 2025 and Kubota L2501.
We use Ironcraft CTFF 2000lbs pallet forks.

Thanks guys, very useful. I was on the fence with the new Summit TX or this T25 and this puts me back on the T25. The Summit has so many features I love but this same test was done by Courtney on the TX and he got about 750lbs in the bucket. Granted a bucket is likely a bit heavier than the pallet forks and frame attachment, it's clear that the T25 can lift a couple hundred pounds more. If you ballasted those rears, it looks like it would have lifted this up no problem. Awesome stuff!

Awesome I’d love to see what it does with ballast and rear weight. I can move 3/4 full ibc totes with wet oak and easily move full totes of dry wood with my t-25 obviously they lift more than the rates capacity but I’d love to know what that is. If I had a large scale I’d do it. I have at times reached the point where the hydraulics just won’t lift something I’d really love to know that number!! Thanks for the awesome video!

Same here.. I like keeping my patio pavers and blocks on pallets and want to stack them to take up less space. I am gonna see how many pavers I can stack per pallet and tray to stack 3 pallets high. I am thinking 50 - 60 pavers per pallet, that is 900 - 1000lb plus the forks 260lb. Can it lift that to 5 foot high?

I would like to see this test with a 5' box scraper thrown on the back of this same tractor, and or how much of a difference it makes having a cab version of this tractor

I am definitely impressed. Based on the weight you have their at a thousand pounds and let's say the tires are loaded with rim guard how much more ballast weight would I need to be able to lift that load properly say 4 -5 feet high?

Rimguard in those size tires would probably add close to 300 lbs in the tires. Probably wouldn't have lifted the rear at all, but just for safety add a few hundred lbs in suitcase weights or if you have the backhoe on it would take a lot more weight.

That really isn’t “real world” per-say. After all you didn’t move the tractor. However, you did give a real world example to what will happen if you’re not careful. I’d like to see this teat repeated after rear ballast. I’m thinking you could safely remove that entire pallet and at least drive it 20-30’ to say a garage. Another idea would be to redo this test with the pallet actually be on an elevated platform; better representation of real world. Obviously you were ready for the seat catapult where most people aren’t.

Be nice if Tym made there own weights, rims with holes. Missing a big market for sure. Most ppl woukd buy them.
