Congratulations on your channel. I’d love to see a video showing how you get the correct grind for the Nanopresso because for me, getting a drinkable espresso using that machine is always a complete gamble. Mine has remained largely unused given that it is just so temperamental. It doesn’t matter whether you buy loose coffee or pods...From my experience it was always just too much hassle for the end result. In a pack of 10 Nespresso pods you can always count on wasting 60% them, and with the cheaper brands...The coffee doesn’t taste as good. With loose coffee, I must have spent £40 on different coffees at different grinds and even then it wasn’t consistent given that grinders are all unique depending which shop you visit. Hi Charles, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the consistency, I will get around to making a video to help with preparing the basket. Regarding the NS adapter, I didn't really use it that much because I favour the Double shot Barista Kit. I'd imagine it would be wise to find a reliable aluminium based pod like the ones by L'OR and don't pump too quickly, the Nanopresso can produce a substantial amount of pressure and I don't think those capsules like it. 2nd Charles' inquiry on grind settings. I've used mine 3 times... with pour-over coarseness, though I think I'd need to go finer for more flavor. But I've been enjoying it so far.

@@Gwinter452 I'd definitely start too coarse then dial it back to reach the optimal grind. Try and keep the volume the same and don't tamp to harshly. Then each time you make an espresso, go a little finer. Once the flow transitions to a drippy rather than a thin stream, then your pretty much there. Different roasts have subtle variations on basket prep, but generally speaking, that's my method. I will do a video though :)

Awesome, this year I plan on exploring hand grinders, I have my eye on a few already, but this Crush Grind seems really impressive for the price, it's a shame James Hoffman didn't have one when he did his budget grinder video, I think it might have come out on top. I use Hario Mini Mill Slim also, I'm Interested with that Crush Grind, look more compact. Look forward to see your review and comparison with Hario.

Awesome, The hario slim served me well for a long time, it was only when I bought my Baratza grinder that I noticed the improvement in my coffee. A good grinder makes a huge difference, but it's a slippery slope once you start upgrading. This year I plan to try progressively higher quality hand grinders, I think this Crush Grind is the perfect stepping stone from the hario. It's early days but it performs way better than its price tag. Also, the adjustment on it is so much finer than on the Hario slim

That's cool, these days any language can be easily translated with Google :) I'm exactly the same, there is no such thing as bad weather, I actually prefer being in the woods when it's raining.
