I feel like people look down on the game just labeling it a gooner game even though it’s much more than that definitely my goty the gameplay is incredible as is the music I also found the characters very charming except maybe adam I don’t think the stories to bad either some very good side quests that flesh out the story

Honestly this game atleast needed to win the best music award , people are quick to bash it for the protagonist looks but it's a pretty fun game , I'm waiting for the pc release and honestly controversial opinion maybe aside from bosses I don't find enemy designs in automata that interesting instead I actually like naytibas and their insect like and teethy designs

Dude I didn’t know about this part until new game + and the only reason I won was thanks to the gold hemmed witch clothes, black knight halberd, grass crest shield, cloranthy ring, and switching to divine blessings for heals instead of estus cuz it was, like, .3 seconds faster😂😂😂 also a shit ton of tries and luck. Like, Chaos Bed, Ornstein and Smough didn’t give me this much trouble

100% agree with you, everything about this game blew me away, and the music was soo damn good, its absolutely criminal that it didnt even win best music in the game awards... Definitely my GOTY.

I’m a hack and slash junkie so I’m very picky with these type of games. Stellar Blade has so many ways to avoid damage with dodge, block, parry, blink, repulse, etc and these mechanics can combo into special attacks. Then there are the different combo strings you can do. It’s just so much more technically advanced than Wukong. The outfits really do extend the playtime and keeps the experience nice and fresh. I think the “gooner” reputation it gets takes it down a notch. People see it as a gooner game and they completely ignore how amazing this game actually is. People are very close minded and scared of t&a lmao

I played Stellar Blade after finished Rebirth. I have to say, Stellar Blade is refreshing for me after 100% of every long, frustrating mini-games in Rebirth.

I doubt it'll get the recognition it deserves at TGA because they're so concerned with sucking up to Hollywood and popular narratives, but glad to see people loved this game as much as me.

People`s game of the year is Wukong, but for me, and apparantly for you, Stellar Blade is a still better. I think the mechanics are just better and you have more fun, while playing Stellar Blade.

As the narrator mentions at the time this video was made, there were about 30 different outfits for Eve to wear. It is now December 12th, 2024 and there are currently about 90 different outfits that Eve can wear! Shift Up did not think 30 was anywhere near enough outfits for their stellar star Eve!! I fully support their opinion. 🤩

im more frustarted with the awful translation. not just the english one, but with literally all of them. and the blueballing. like we never get any straight forward answers ever ha. building up a mysterie is fine, but it takes them years to get back to some topics. that always have huge implications.

Kh isn’t just “complex” it’s overly complicated and convoluted in the worst ways. The mobile games and spin-offs on 5 diff consoles was nothing but a cash grab for Disney and square & not at all about fans. Your comment about frozen is how I feel about kh. “I loved Frozen& it was a standalone , didn’t think it needed a sequel, but who’s to say 3 will be good? “ kh is suffering from over milking the series. I worry about the game preservation of the franchise at this point too with the delistings and some of the handheld games being left mostly in the past.

Personally I only a KH fan because of other fans. fanart, fanfiction, rewrites and others. KH deserves better than what both disney and Square did. 😔

I feel im the only KH fan who thinks this way but they probably announced it early to get more devs on board for the game and to have something big for the 20th anniversary. You say it was announced to early but I bet if they announced nothing big by then KH fans would be upset that they didn't get anything. It's easy to think about the negatives about it cause we're consumers not the developers. I think its important to explore other game series outsode of KH or we're just going to go on mass hysteria on when the next trailer is coming. Im a long time KH fan but im also an adult now who just doesn't have the energy for that anymore, lol we already get so much KH content compared to other series anyways
