looks like the air valves on it are the same as a stand up paddleboard. Generally the pumps have a second port for the fill hose to pump air out of your inflatables

Good advice. I've had grizzly encounter in Grand Tetons. I froze, made noise, sang, and he left after about 5-10 minutes. DON'T RUN!

Been camping for 60 years, prospected for 8 of them living in bush camps, and have never ever come across a Rocket Stove. Cooked many meals on coleman stoves and wood fires, charcoal too. The thing about cooking is you cannot cook well on a screaming hot open flame. You will burn the outside and the inside will be raw. A rookie mistake is cooking over flame instead of coals. In defense of this gizmo, I have never owned or used one and cannot see one in my rather short future. Simmering low heat, cast iron for stable heat retention, adjustable heat using either a gas flame or coals from a burnt down woodfire. That is camp cooking.

So I literally can't find anything about this anywhere. I figured with the great review content and the style of comment I'm reading, someone might know. Here's the deal: all the Intex tandem inflatable kayaks list a capacity limit of 400 lb. I'm a big guy, and I'd rather go tandem with someone. I'm not 400 lb, but me and someone else will probably edge over that limit, maybe even by a bit. To be honest, I don't understand the math that says all the kayaks have the same weight limit: the Dakota, the Sierra, the Explorer, the Excursion - it just makes no sense. Has anyone gone over capacity with this? What happens? I can't even find a video on KZbin of someone overloading one of these. Seriously, KZbin doesn't appear to have anything on the subject. Am I up the creek without a kayak?a

I've had mine to about 370. It was fine, filled up, moved a lot slower than solo, make sure you don't hit anything - AT ALL - when you are loaded like that bottoming out or touching anything isn't a good idea. Don't ever drag it on the ground. If you can afford it I'd spend just a little more on a SeaScape & I would buy the amazon insurance on it, small price to pay that covers punctures. Stay close to the shore, make sure you have life jackets & you should be fine. You also might want to try a rowboat from intext or Seascape, more room to move around & rowing won't take you long to learn, expect 10-20 minutes of trying to figure it out. Hope that helps!

The pump also has a deflating side. It makes it a lot easier to get the air out before folding it.

When I un-couple the pump from the air valves, I lose a lot of air immediately. Is that normal or should the valve lock to prevent air escaping?

You are a very small & miserable man to waste your time looking at reviews of a product you already own just so you can nit pick. I feel terrible for you & anyone that has to encounter you in life. You don't have to be like this, & anyone else that wants to leave the same stupid comment. You guys need to go out & be more productive with your time, I feel to bad for people like you. I used to tell nice people like you "hey I don't use the pan, it's garbage to me, I don't care that I used a fork, the bacon? I was in a hurry, do you want to see a coffee cup full of bacon grease to see I normally save it? It always seems to come from men that also tried to get into youtube but failed, so they come here & say stupid things like you did to make them feel not as weak about themselves. The pan sucks & so do you if you are only here to see what I have to say about a pan you already bought & feel like you need to defend the POS. No it's beginner garbage amateur hour gear, spend $10-15 more on something better with less plastic

Great advice on the pans. I used to take an entire Swedish Army Surplus cooking set, with fuel AND the old school brass military Trangia stove. It is truly a thing of beauty.... but if Im actually going to be carrying my kit on my back, its way too much metal. These days I take a Dutch Army surplus stainless steel cup and nesting NATO water bottle. I combine this with a BRS stove and the smallest gas cannister I can find. I make my food menu fit the metal cup..... I get up... I warm the food in the cup ... I rinse the cup, I cook my coffee in the cup. Sure this means that every trip I have some kind of exotic coffee with hints of curry, Thai spices or chicken flavouring..... but its light.
