I yearn back for the days of real travellers. Today it`s mostly about these tourist monkeys whose culture and interests don`t go deeper than stuffing streetfood in their eating holes. Mankind is lost, definitely.

Then the humanity shouldn't be degenerate if it spends time watching videos of someone eating something in a foreign country. The best of all are Americans who don't even recognize unfamiliar food and think that everything is some kind of weird hamburger.

"Meze" it's anything you eat along with alcohol. "Pikilia" it's when you have a combination of foods. Literally "pikilia" means "variety".

Maybe I will return back to London soon. After I spent a year at home I missed it so much. The open minded people, the food, the public transportation and the projects there. It's a completely different vibe from Eastern Europe and after I spent 4 years in London I got used to it.

A caring man doesn't know what they put in him, the frozen sea cucumbers come from who knows where and the squid you might think is from Zadar, Croatia. A restaurant with the wrong name, Taljan would never write La štruk. Salary 5+, koj če ku..c khruh. This food is not Croatian but from Bosnia, Italy, Macedonia, Turkey.

With the current inflation rates, Bulgaria isn't as "cheap" as it was, but it's still (overall) less than HALF the cost of living in The US, and I'll be retiring in Plovdiv in several months....
