We spent a couple weeks there last Christmas. The town was so festive and filled with Christmas markets, music and food. Wonderful city.

Totally agree! Zagreb is so underrated. It's crazy that the cathedral still is under construction. We were there 2 years ago and it looks exactly the same - Trevor

This are not construction works on cathedral, this are restoration and conservation works. Because of the materials that cathedral is made of, which erodes easely, works will never stop. Only if we put whole cathedral in wax or some air tight material or simply stop polution!

From that tower the cannon has been shooting continuously since January 1, 1877. This is 5th cannon, all 4 previous are now exhibits in the Zagreb City Museum.
@@LifetimeTravelmates I live maybe 200 meters by air from that tower, and I always know when it's noon without looking at the clock. 😂

I am from zagreb. For me the must things for tourists would be food and nature(ribnjak..medvednica...jarun..bundek...maksimir) Craft beers...also Christmas market of course Or is this just the things i like??? Hm??

I have seen all types of video tour Zagreb but i think ( im origin Zagreb boy) u all missed the other places in Zagreb as well.. I think u can also show people not just a center of the city..bcose city is big enaff to show expl. Zoo...lakes..parks ..museums and theaters..river Sava..
