Hello good sir, I've got a question not really related to this video, but I've noticed in your other videos that you do own a number of 3 ring binders and you keep them vertically. Have you ever had an issue with 3 ring binders stored vertically that the cards inside got damaged because the pages would be pulled downward by gravity?

I'm a Yugioh guy myself. I'm less of a collector, and more of a player. I have a ton of decks, partial deck cores, and staples for decks and Side Decks. I'm trying to downsize though. Instead of having 6 or 7 good decks, and like 25 bad decks I made for funsies over the years, I want to cull all that down to like 3 great decks and maybe 6 decks of varying power between other good decks and pet decks. I want to get rid of all my deck cores that I don't personally plan to use. Problem is, I don't want to just throw out usable cards. I got no issue tossing junk, but if a card can have a home, I'd like it to have a home. Also, I want to have things I can trade for useful cards. If I throw away all my extraneous cards, what would I have for trades? If I had infinite funds to solve my issue, then I would develop my own storage solution. Maybe something modular that could hold everything, but also be able to leave behind my bulk if I don't plan to take it with me. Really, I want my whole "collection" to fit in my bag give or take a binder or so. Right now I have an LTT backpack, which has plenty of room.

I can see the use cases but 150$ drawer for bulk is nuts haha.

I would love a full review of all the boulder esque deck boxes. Theres been so many. All companies make one now. Would love to see them all, how they fit into an UG arkhive or gamegenic vault. Theres Ultimate Guard boulder, BCW Prism, Gamegenic Bastion, Dex Protection Nano, and Quiver Nexus coming out soon (im sure im missing some). I agree with you that this is EXACTLY the design that perfectly fits the needs of most private collectors, including myself who has a half dozen of the older generic 5-row cardboard flat boxes plus another few of the smaller 2-row ones, and am overflowing from those as it is. This would be a perfect sturdy replacement as the drawers would allow stack-ability along with a small bit of convenience when searching for a card, if only they were also removable for portability to a table or workbench. That said, what might be your opinion on if someone were to take this product and try to develop a 3D-printable version with some feature changes? If so, it may not be as durable of a product compared to the injection molded plastic like this but could be a much more cost effective idea depending on how much filament it may require. 🤔 Pardon the noise and the burning oil smell, it's just my mental gears at work! Lol.

Not bad considering the one I bought off of Etsy (and also had to construct) is more expensive.

For those that might be concerned with potential damage from the cards coming in contact with the wood, as I was, here's what i am doing to minimize that concern with mine. For the inside of the drawers, I am putting a couple coats of " oil based wood finish top coat sealant" before assembling. If you apply it properly ; sand the surface, apply first layer, wait 12-24 hours, very lightly sand with 320 grit sandpaper once coat dries, repeat steps 1 or 2 more times and it will be as smooth as glass. Just don't sand the last layer you apply. This suggestion takes a considerable amount of time, so i totally get why someone may not want to do it. But i was going to stain mine anyways and I'm already bought in on the time commitment. If you're like me and have little to no experience staining wood, purchase some of their card dividers and practice on them after watching a couple youtube vids. Hope this helps someone

Favorite is definitely Magic; its the only one I've invested in paper. Well I suppose a French-suit 52 card playing deck also kinda counts and I do adore many of those games? And I would class mahjong as a card game, despite using tiles. But probably Magic, still.

Favorite card game is Flesh and Blood, have been working on a deck to maybe take a shot at a pro tour! This would really help with my organization. 😅

Magic yes. I've tried a few projects with laser cut wood and I can never get them perfectly. Anything with a lid or holder needs a ton of sanding as I cannot get the fit right even with clamps
