Fun to see "3 Wise Men"🤩 of the Society(and the scary Santa!!) bantering and showing of some very interesting drams!!😁 Calum; the white beard highlights the whiskys colour!! Good show!😅 Pick & mix..in Sweden we have lösgodis. Up to several hundreds of varieties!!! Visited Isle of Harris in June!! Wow!

They have a good concept and business plan (as opposed to, say, Waterford). Ride on the gin while waiting for the first outturn, have a narrative that transcends Scotch. And beautiful bottles. I still have to try it...which I definitely will, as a longtime friend of Harris Tweed.
@magnusekhall2 күн бұрын
And the gin they make is actually very good. It's my new favourite.

First time anyone's ever used that term for Calum 😁
@PatrikBrucknerАй бұрын
Great craic and fun to see Mads, Calum and Rich discussing how "dunnagy" a dunnage warehouse is!!😂 Rancio is a tough term to define/describe though!! Topping it with gaelic dialects... Also, a 41 in the mix, nice!!!😍 By the Herresy way, what cheese did you choose Callum? Armagnac is like the single malt of grape destillate, very nice!
@TheScotchMaltWhiskySocietyUKАй бұрын
Thanks Patrik. Calum got the cheese from a local supermarket near the warehouse!

That was a very entertaining, fun and informative chat. I really like the sound of some of those whiskys and I have added a couple of them to the ones I will try at this weeks Outturn tasting. Also, I hadn't realised there was a second Outturn in November, so that was great to find out. I've just now booked a table in Greville Street for the occasion - Thank you all, Cheers 🥃

I swear, you can taste the hauntedness in the whiskies of every single one of these distilleries. :D (not saying that's a bad thing)

Haha I hope you managed to enjoy your dram in the end! Its really down to how you enjoy it most. Although lots of experts will try the whisky neat first before adding in some small drops of water to see how it changes the flavour - then you can always add more drops if needed! Cheers ^Duncan
