I just got the mask in the mail and I’m excited to get started, but there is an awful smell from the mask. Any tips on getting rid of this?

Quick question. For JUST the smile, not the rest of it, how long did it take? Im thinking of doing something similar with the forced smile concept for halloween in a few months, so I need to know if I need to get up extra early to do this.
