Not bad but the black dot should be centered on the tip of the nose and you really need the teeth prosthetics to bring it to life.

This tutorial is a BLESSING and im hyped to get this done in october, my only concern is the color of the white on your final result, it seems just a little too bone white. do you think doing more layers could result in a brighter white?? I'm aiming to get it looking like the same tone as the balaclava. Also would there be any downsides to doing the makeup on the prosthetic before applying it to the face, and then just finishing up the gaps on the mouth and eyes afterwards?

@@Redemptify you could try to layer it up more, or you could also try cream makeup (you’d need a barrier to seal the prosthetic so it isn’t absorbed into the foam) or pax paint! And yes, you could definitely apply the makeup prior to applying it to your face and finish up after :) I would just recommend fitting it to your face/modifying as needed beforehand!

How does the mask hold up when you remove it? My son wants to dress up as this but I'm gonna have to size the mask to him ahead of time

If you’re careful removing it, you should be able to reapply it. But you could also fit it to his face and cut darts/glue just the mask together so it fits him and then you wouldn’t have to worry about that! Does that make sense?

@@Areweallmonkeys I say that mainly because the edges are just really fragile - where this specific look most of them go underneath the balaclava head piece it may not be too big of a deal. With the adhesive the inside of the mask may be sticky too

@@boatgod6475 you should be able to, it just depends on what kind of makeup you’re using might make it more of a pain to apply (ie mainly just messier, but you could maybe wear some nitrile gloves if you don’t want to get the makeup on your hands/mess up the makeup). I wouldn’t recommend doing the black before applying it though, and I think keeping the edges clean will help with having an easier application. And you’d want to fit it to your face before applying the makeup to it so you know if you need to modify/make darts like I did and then you can keep those edges clean as well. Hope that helps! It is, the only issue I had was with the edge of the prosthetic under my lower lip because the shape of my chin - I think if I would have cut some of the foam out from the inside of the chin it would’ve rested better
