I hate the ads just as much as the next guy, but maybe this is a sign to go back to good ol fashion academia, a book. Recently ive started to find my mind circulating anti-tech philosophy. The more that time passes the more I begin to hate the smartphone and its covert introduction to another modern addiction. This unfiltered ecosystem of meaningless thought distraction has caused collective damage to human cognitive ability. Despite the access of free knowledge granted to us i believe the overstimulation our species is facing right now is not worth the tradeoff. In the event of trying to ween my addiction ive found that I actually like to go outside now.... And sometimes i go outside and read!!! Rejecting modernity has never meant so much to me rn. Our parents were right, it really is that damn phone.

I'm with the other commentors. Ads have gone past diminishing returns and are now actively turning people off of products. Whenever I see an ad it mounts a disliking for whatever product is being shown, near to no exceptions (I have a soft spot for the 'we turn everything into pillow' guy). Ads actively make me hate the product being shown.

I remember once YEARS ago I kept getting the exact. Same. Goshdarn Ricart ad on every single KZbin video I watched for about a month straight. I kept marking it as repetitive and it kept coming back no matter what. That, mixed with the fact that one of my music playlists had tracks so long that ads would play right in the middle of them (causing me to not touch that playlist for years) are what caused me to finally get an ad blocker. KZbin single handedly is the reason I got an ad blocker and I'm never going back.

I genuinely believe ads don't work. Every platform is eating itself over trying to be profitable off ads that are worth pennies at best. This is why it's only platforms not meant to be profitable or that are able to get enough money directly from users work

Ads are usually measured heavily by watch time, which is tracked by time elapsed on a video, but the video is paused? Like KZbin pays its creators so poorly they could just take all the money and nobody would really notice

I have a question for the OG ror players in the audience. Did they happen to retain the not well known movement tech of jumping on the same frame as the impact of knuckleboom sending you flying forward in the air in an arc? Not that I think it's necessary, as the sling past with the grappling hook basically renders it moot, but I didn't know if they decided to keep that little quirk. I just remember using it a few times back in the day.

Just beat my first Bandit Run (only ever played on monsoon no relics). All secondary kit. I prefer standoff for no particular reason other than because I am not good at spamming cooldowns with the primary Ult. And on the first stage it is a consistent enough way to get bonus damage to kill the boss quickly. SmokeBomb is incredibly busted and is really good at effectively immunizing yourself to melee and allowing you to actually take advantage of your Whip's "pierce" and let your on death procs light everything up. Whip is nice because bandit doesn't really have a source of pierce otherwise so it allows bandit to clean up hordes of enemies which he wouldn't be able to do otherwise without either getting really good at Bandit's kit or without really good items. Best item in that run was Red whip because letting me zoom across the map to find the Teleporter as fast as possible and check last minute for any items likely saved the run. I've been beating Runs once each before moving on to the next character. It took upwards of 100 times to beat my first run on Monsoon with Commando (me learning the game and deciding on preferred kit). Only died 15 times with Huntress before winning. Died about 25 times with Enforcer, and I died 35-ish times with Bandit. I hope HAND-D is nicer to me on that front as each the more close-up I get with the enemies, the more I die.

Strafe + cyclone seems really good. Being able to move at full speed means you can mute the disk much easier.

I’ve actually played substantially more solo than coop, which is an odd thing to have happen in a coop based game

Honestly I don' like the extra knockback that permafrost gives as it often kicks enemies out of flamethrower and chakram range.

1:46 I'd actually argue that if you take Mining Expert in tier 1 for bosco, he actually is better than you at digging out heavy objects. Very useful on point extraction especially. Sometimes you can complete the entire objective using bosco, without having to ever personally leave the minehead. Mining Expert also makes bosco faster at making tunnels through compacted dirt than everyone except driller, and he can also mine minerals faster than dwarves with this upgrade too, the downside there being that he dumps the minerals on the floor, and sometimes they can roll into hard-to-reach locations.

true solo kinda sucks on some classes on certain missions but if you are willing to change class and weapons depending on the mission then true solo is also pretty good

10/10 video! I honestly really love playing DRG and Helldivers solo. Playing solo on high difficulties in Helldivers is nearly impossible, mostly because objectives are being constantly swarmed with enemies and I don't have the tools to deal with them all before more spawn. Bosco adds just enough help that it makes DRG actually playable, as I can effectively do two things at once.
