I’m looking at the ProFX16v3. Is there an other model from Yamaha or someone else that you would consider comparable and would recommend instead? Looks like you haven’t reviewed that one yet.

What is the quality of Mackie today? Transom Capital Group seems to be building them better. I know a few years ago they were really bad. I would be nice to see them on top again. I must say I to like my Yamaha.

Hi, Do you think the Vocaster One is enough to get the best clear sound out of the Shure SM7B?

My ProFX12v3+ just came out of the box this afternoon. I am fortunate to have watched this video before I've even plugged the unit in and turned it on. I have an acoustic duo with my wife and we've been using the classic Mackie DFX-12 for many years. I have two of them, and one had a channel fail during COVID and the backup had one fail just last week. This unit is an upgrade for us, and I hope to use it to its full capacity, and also branch out into some home recording for some original song projects. Thank you. I hope to absorb all this info and more from your other videos.

I've been watching your video, How To Connect XLR Mic To Computer, but most computers only have one USB-C connection dedicated to a camera. Can you connect the XLR Microphone to an audio interface with a USB-A connection? What's the best workaround, or do you think the USB-A will be enough?

Congratulations on the explanations. How do I record audio being played on the computer in real time? In this case, using the USB port.

Hi Jordon. Thanks for all the great videos. Using the MG10XU USB connection, how can I connect a USB speaker to my laptop and use it as in room monitor? 🙂 Thanks

I purchased this mixer model a week ago [I also own an MG10XU] and I'm loving it. It is an incredibly compact mixer! (Dec. 22, 2024)

Hi! I really liked this video. It helped me to understand better and learn. As a tech grad student, I need to create video presentations. That's why I'm considering buying the Rode Podmic USB and the Focusrite Vocaster One. What do you think about it? 😊

The fact SHURE's mic cuts around the "Room" frequencies and sibilance immediately keeps it on my radar for my upgrade.

Though it may not have the aesthetic, you can pretty much get the same function out of an SM57 for like 1/3 the cost.

Question. It seems like the Mackie has some great features and I am very much leaning towards that. HOWEVER, is there any noticeable difference in sound quality. Features are great, but if one sounds tinny or has static or whatever, then I don't care how good the features are. Prior to me starting this journey of putting together a nice Karaoke system, I never heard of Mackie before, but I have heard of Yamaha. With that said, I like the features of the Mackie here better, but want to make sure the sound quality is there as well. Thanks
