It’s good to see the tors again. Thank you for sharing. Hiked there a lot back when film was expensive to process and memories staying in my head.

Where’d you guys put in and get out? Was the whole thing deep enough to float a canoe the whole way?

Hi, Ivan, I decided to go to the top of Donnelly Dome at mid march. I think it will be a perfect place to take Northern light. Do you think it's possible and safe to go to the top in March? Thanks!

Great video...Brings back good memories. I was stationed at Eielson AFB from 1984 - 1988. During a trip to Valdez we camped overnight at Donnelly Dome. I'll never forget the sunrise that morning...The sun lit up the Alaska Range south of us and the valley to the east. It really was breathtaking! Thanks again for sharing.

I was stationed at Eielson AFB '15-'19 and that was our spot to go. However, Ski Land was pretty cool too! In Texas now and re-thinking my life choices. Lol

I did that trail one day because it was really windy on the turnagain arm. It was better shielded from the wind that others nearby. I was surprised how steep it was! I got a good workout. It got pretty snowy about 2 miles in so I turned around there.

Thanks for posting Ivan! Hey, I'm going to hike South...and maybe North Suicide Peaks this summer. I'm still considering which route to take (Rabbit Lake or Falls Creek). I'd like to bring my dog, too! When you come up the back (Falls Creek) side of suicide did your dog have any problems getting up? Do you have a GPS Map you can share? Gunalchéesh HoHo (Thanks you very much in Tlingit)!
