I like that (up until the end) he’s not actually running from anything or even trying to find a way out. He’s just kind of wandering around and exploring the cool locations he’s in.

I'm 42. I've shown this video to ALOT of people in my age group. It tricks them. Every time, their eyes glue to the screen in mystery, almost trance like, in disbelief at what they are seeing, unknowing that this is software cgi mastery at work. They ask me if it's a real place. I've had some come to me with conspiracy theories on what they saw actually was. That's how good this video actually is.

cant put my finger on the why, put the poolrooms overall, have something very calming and soothing to me compare to the "offices". its a place, where i could walk for a day, be alone, explore

This is the real definition of what backrooms are. Trapped in an endless rooms, Not knowing where to go and all alone, stuck between if this is reality or dream with no entities ruining everything!

There's a reason Kane cribbed from Matt Studios when making the Oldest View. It had far better lore-building and tone cultivation than his original Backrooms content did. Wish you'd come back man. You got the original tone so much better

Hello , can you make more videos on how to enter the bakrooms and poolrooms and all the methods and ways to enter, you can also send me the comments on how to enter the bakrooms and poolrooms. If you have news, tell me in the comments.

I am currentlyw building liminal spaces and playrooms in Minecraft, painting them, etc. This video really helps me recreate the poolrooms! Thank you for making it. Also, it's pretty unnerving just being lost in an endless place of water and tiles...

This is really the essence of the backrooms. The atmosphere of being alone in a place that seems detached from this reality. A rift in the very fabric of reality into a careless dreamlike world that has you as it's only visitor. Once you leave you will wonder if it was all a dream. Perhaps it was, perhaps not. Does the endless halls of the poolrooms still exist somewhere? Does the water still drip in it's loneliness agains't the cold slippery tiles? Does the lamps still illuminate the saturnical and sterile empty rooms and make that buzzing hypnotizing sound? One day you might wake up again there, and then there is only one thing you can do... wander. Wander until you wake up or forget who you are and what's left is the smell of chloride, the monotonous sound of dripping water and buzzing lamps, and a comfortable emptiness...

I cannot help but shake this feeling that if the character had opened up what looked like it to be his closet and stepped inside them, closed the door, and then opened them he'd be back home.

This is what it's supposed to be, not this stupid monster filled thing it's turned into. The whole reason it's scary is the emptiness and lack of any life, this is the _real_ backrooms

I feel like this is hell. No fire and brimstone, just an endless trap with multiple ways to escape a room, but no way of knowing if you’re getting closer to getting out or going further into the trap. The real hell kicks in when you realize you aren’t dying of thirst or hunger no matter how long you feel you’ve been down there. This is sadistically brilliant

Mid 1990s, late at night my friends and I would late night drive around empty corporate complexes. Listening to industrial or ambient music, I was struck with an other worldly lonely atmosphere. It was pleasant and profound. Often times visiting these places in heavy fog or mist. Those were the real liminal spaces.

Truly the uncanny valley of interior design. Amazing how it feels so open and so claustrophobic at the same time- the rooms are huge and empty, but you still feel trapped. I feel like you get what actually makes The Backrooms scary; it's about the feeling of isolation and helplessness, of being stuck somewhere that is tranquil but extremely dangerous. It's a very unique genre of horror, one that taps into some actual primal fears rather than just flashing a bunch of startling/grotesque images at you.
