I absolutely loved this video. The Poolrooms are definitely my favorite part of the Backrooms as a whole, and I really like seeing people give it attention. I want to provide some fair criticism on something, that being audio. I feel like the intensity and envelopment is slightly lost in this video because the sounds don't match. We don't hear our protagonist splashing through the water, their footsteps echoing throughout the infinite 'empty' hallways and their labored breathing as they climb a ladder, or crawl through a tight squeeze. I think this could easily be top tier content with some audio enhancements. With all that in mind I don't mean it in any offense. These video could be extremely laboring to make, and audio work is especially so.

However, the enemies should be a rare occurrence so that only a few lucky (unlucky?) Individuals should encounter. That way, you'd leave people constantly on the edge while being there, even if they'd spend quite some time without anything happen, because they'd know that something bad CAN happen, they just don't know when, where and what.

Thank you for making a back rooms video that does not include an entity. If you read the descriptions of these levels, they are millions of square miles in area each, and encountering anyone is extremely unlikely - with most wanderers dying from starvation and dehydration without meeting any other creature, not from an eviscerating attack from a skin stealer, a smiler, or God only knows what. The most promising research we've done so far is analysis of the water acquired from some of the pool rooms. Two hydrogen, one oxygen. Completely. Deionized. It won't kill you, but it isn't healthy to drink long-term. Normally used in manufacturing, it's never a question of "if" the system piping it is going to fail, but "when". The unusual property of backrooms deionized water, though, is that it never gets ionized. It stays deionized, and continues to act that way, taking ions from material around it, breaking it down. ... Oh. Yes. That technically would be a violation of the conservation of energy. We have several ways of exploiting that we are working on right now.

I agree with another commenter that this needs more realistic splashing, footsteps, sloshy foot steps after exiting water, breathing, etc. The water is rendered very well, wave action is very convincing, 9.5/10; only missing the specular highlights both below water and on surrounding surfaces. If you had the specular highlights this would look almost indistinguishable from "reality". The refraction in the water is nearly perfect though!

You know.... The old public swimming pool in our town (I'll look to see if I can find photos.) First time I went, my daughter was maybe one. The place was practically empty. Just a couple people pool walking or doing laps. The locker rooms were down these VERY narrow steps, where the tile was the walls, floors, and ceiling. Very narrow and slippery. That's why I never went back. Those steps, especially carrying a child and large bags of towels, suits, diaper bag, etc... Scared the hell out of me. Gotta see if I can find you a photo.

I have just found this video for the first time. I would have comforting but also eerie dreams about pools exactly like this as a kid in the 90s and 2000s. The tile was sometimes more ornate, but otherwise this is basically a video of my childhood subterranean pool dreams. I’m shocked that someone else has experienced these visions and taken the time to visualize them.

Fantastic video, but if bro was walking in the water and he got out, he’d be making some sloshy sounds walking around, not that crisp beautiful soft dry thomping. Besides that, good stuff man. 👍

I don't know why but the sound of the water relaxes me, I could take the video as an ASMR

This was always my favourite level of the backrooms the calm vibes of the safe zone and in paralleled liminality of the area is truly fascinating if I ever learn how to lucid dream this is where I’m choosing to spend my first experience at least

The thing I hate/love most about the poolrooms is the fact that no matter where you go, or how slowly you move, you're almost always making noise by moving through the water and attracting attention to yourself.

Would have loved to see some waves animated into your movements while in the pools. Aside from that, brilliant backrooms vid! Beautiful work!

I'm so happy someone added these tunnels you crawl through. In my dreams I'm compelled to even though I'm afraid of getting stuck or running into a dead end.

This needs to be a game. I'd play it in a heartbeat, just as is. Adding in the occasional camera glitch I've seen just makes it more terrifying.

the way you've made it look like it was filmed on a 90's camcorder lends a great effect.. it's like some crazy complex on another planet.

Like the design. It's both familiar and utterly alien. It's both relaxing and terrifying at the same time.
