The hype man is too darn loud. He’s overwhelming the band’s sound.

It's because the announcer is in the mic (which goes to all the speakers, therefore ALL the crowd. But the band is not in a microphone and facing away from whomever recorded. Maybe there's a video out there from someone on the home side of the field

The look tiny as hell! Why are they wearing J’s??? I can barely hear them. But because they are HUGE, they get a pass. They are known for their jazz program

Howard hasn’t had a large band in years, in part because it can’t compete with scholarships of more robust band programs. Jumpman launched a partnership with Howard last year, and outfitted the band with Js. Not sure how much sound you thought you’d get with a video shot from the rear 😂
