It's crazy you making $28 an hour driving fuel which is Dangerous AS FUCK and you need Hazmat and Tanker endorsement. I made $28 an hour delivering MILK to grocery stores, no hazmat and the Dangerous part of the job is maybe spilling a pallet of Milk all over the dock. You should be making $60 an hour driving that shit... thats what they pay up her in the Northeast.

Too many foreigners going to continue to work for minimum wages to keep us from thriving because our little paycheck is living large in their countries. It’s like when black people stopped farming after slavery and the Hispanics continue to do it for less than minimum wage.

The trucking industry was done in 1980 when deregulation came into play. Took four decades to get it to a shred of what it use to be. Most younger drivers may not realize how much the railroads had to do with the downfall of trucking. Currently today Warren Buffetts BNSF R/R and all class 1 R/R's are lobbying to reduce train crews l from two to one man crews. There alredy using remote cabs in certain selective lines and have been using them for decades in the marshalling yards. The goal is to eliminate having humans work period. Everything thats happening now has been planned and implemented years ago, it just takes time to fully manifest and be felt by the masses. Drivers didn't wanna hear this then and many still don't wanna hear that now and the suit & ties now this. I feel for y'all but I put my time in and have been happily retired since 07.

Truck drivers need to form an organization, a union for long term effect on their careers. You need an organizational move. Not just an unorganized strike.

Exactly if the union is national then it evens the playing field in going owner Op or company they have no choice but to pay higher in the union they can’t pay under it.
