Look, i like The Don and AFTV, but your not being truthful if you think the negativity wasnt the thing that exploded AFTV. Me myself started watching AFTV after the Arsenal-Liverpool game, with the famous line "When is it gonna end, Robbie" from DT. There were THOUSANDS just like me who started watching after seeing those famous videos of Troopz, DT, Ty etc... I stopped watching after they became good, because its not the same entertainment anymore. Im sure im not alone on this aswell.

Robbie rate him - but the growth of aftv came from the meltdowns and other fans looking on and laughing

DT, Claude, Troopz is what made prime AFTV. Without them, the channel would not have grown. We always came for them. To top it off, Arsenal going through bad patch is what made it viral. Nobody watches AFTV when they win. Just look at the numbers.

The reason AFTV get great ratings when Arsenal are doing well is because the vast majority of Arsenal supporters don’t want to see a group of people whinging, whining and putting the club down. When the team is doing well we know that won’t be present so supporters tune in for the genuine analysis. As soon as there is a hint of trouble on the pitch, AFTV start shouting for the managers head and putting the players down. True supporters find that repulsive to watch. If the team is playing poorly or the club is below standards as it was a few years ago, do something proactive, join the Arsenal Supporters Association and have your say on how the club is run, don’t whinge and moan about it, it’s boring and doesn’t achieve anything.

Rival fans are still all over the comments even now. People just posting nonsense about how Arteta should be sacked, or Arteta has no ambition if he stays at Arsenal. Or "Haha you bottled the league". Or just random hate comments. Rival fans will still be there talking nonsense even if Arsenal win the Quadruple. It's wild to me. I wonder what the demographic of the channel really is, I wonder if most of them are just kids.

People always say AFTV highlighted the negativity in the fan base. Of course they did, most Arsenal fans were very disappointed during that time and I feel they showed that. They also had much more positive fans but no one bothers to watch that

Was AFTV mostly negative complaining - Yes Did Robbie turn a profit off it - Yes Did Robbie plan to profit off our failure - Probably not That said and done, the image is set now, Arsenal and Arsenal fans don't appreciate AFTV - thats the way it'll stay.

Robbie himself has always been a positive for Arsenal, but let’s have it right, the cronies that he was exploiting on AFTV were disgusting. DT, Troopz, Claude all made AFTV a laughing stock and disgraced the club and it’s real fan base. Robbie knew what he was doing. He was pimping out those idiots for the views of all the non arsenal fans just watching to banter, and the mid guided young Arsenal fans who watched regularly were influenced by those muppets and it bread nothing but a shit culture for the club. AFTV was poison.

Even if you were not a Wenger supporter at that time, the way people were treating Wenger on Robbie’s platform, was outright disgusting. At the peak of the Wenger out toxicity, this channel profited off so much negativity. Made fans turn on each other. Robbie might started off with pure intentions, but over time, he is responsible for perpetuating the abuse Wenger got.

You are bunch of pricks. Wenger is a big man himself and fans have a right to voice their opinion like it or not. Aftv has nothing to do with the way wenger leave. Aftv was just the messenger. We've gone to medicore and was heading backwards under wenger in the latter stage of his carrier and this what we have endure and thats bantering from other fanbase because neither the owners and manager seems to care one bit. Fans were just voicing their opinion. So dont blame aftv. The fans are what built this club so if they think they are not getting their money's worth they have all the damm rights to demand better.

All these fan tv channels were being built on negativity and were toxic. Now that they have achieved some level of success they are trying to quietly rebrand themselves as moderate channels. All are scum. They dont love their club they are just chasing the dollars.

As grateful as we are to the professeur, we had the same session year in year out for 7 or 8 seasons in a row knocked out league cup earlyish, UCL round of 16 exactly the same, 3rd or 4th place with usually more than 10 points behind title except 2nd in 2016. And just the odd FA Cup. For a club that was Man Us (my biggest rival) nearest challenger in the early 00s, that was concerning. I even said id prefer a season of Europa in that spell just to break the monotony. I still don't regret it. Same number of home wins 11, 12 ,13 season in and out. Similar away record. Anything up or down would have given us something different.

Good Lord, this reminds me of Robbie on talksport getting aggressively criticised by a cokehead looking pink faced man called Jordan Simon or something and that interview, which I had to see after watching Don Robbie's interview by @thecalumjohnsonshow, gave me a pure headache. You've really got to have thick skin to make it over here. Big up Robbie and may God continue to bless you and your hustle.

Robbie should talk more about what AFTV actually started as. It gave the fans a VOICE. Something that desperately needed during our banter era. Alongside of course bringing the international fans closer to the club. However, Robbie shouldn't have let Moh go out for wanting to wear Free Palestine. That's a bit like North Korea Fan TV?

Yes. Some things on AFTV gets out of hand like the rants and stuff. But it's what the unfiltered raw emotions of football fans are. Before the Fan channel thing, mainstream media will only highlight what they want to highlight. Getting opinions from actual fans were unheard of even in the 2000s. Now with KZbin and fan channel wave, media is getting insecure about the fans focusing more on those than mainstream media

AFTV was the most disgusting thing on social media. It created a product that was dysfunctional and monetized dysfunctional behavior. With that criminal like DT. Clearly you realized that the product was rubbish and that is why you created this superior product which is a pleasure to tune into. You clearly learned from your mistakes. What you had then, what you brought out in people, for money, was vile and the most Anti-Arsenal product on social media. You will never agree to that because of your ego but it is true.

Robbie was agreeing somewhat with these clowns. The point being AFTV doesn’t need other fans to be successful. All it needs is Arsenal fans and Frankly there is 2 million + fans out there. If other fans want to watch fine you add to the algorithm. But it’s not made for you. You are the reason why it’s succeeded. The content is not for you yet here you are watching.

The rants made the channel popular for fans of other teams because they enjoyed revelling in Arsenal doing bad. It would have been great and would have grown for as well if Arsenal were winning and winning well but would have been more popular for Arsenal fans. It's just worked out that the channel grew in a bad season so that it could blow up right across the board. Well done to Robbie
