Since the introduction of plates, i stoped using blocks. Best addition ever. Builds are strong but light. Large grid bases have a smaller footprint and saves resources big-time.

I think you're onto something ive been sweating on this game and when it goes bad i get MAD lol...played against 4 players using spiderbots on the same team and dominated but still felt annoyed enough to get off for the night im going to try just being more zen and chill next time i play because i let things i cant control get under my skin too much Ur right el remedio on the ground is better than the vial for healing it grants so much more plus it's a team game so the team based skill does better, same with the radar over the invisibility any sweaty player will see you on their 240hz plus monitor lol

I see your taking quite some time sorting inventory one at a time Something i discovered is to have the both storages selected one on the left and the container you want everything in on the right And hold Alt and just click on the items you want moved and itll move them and sort them for you I hope this was clear enough cause i suck at explaining

wind turbines - 13 grids above the base floor, 1 grid down a cube in the 4 directions, a sideways wind turbine on each cube... this is the META for power, next tower 13 grids away, I always prioritize power and batteries then cargo, refinery and assembler in that order

Your struggle with mounting interior turrets on the small grid was due to interior turrets not having a small grid version. :D Though to Iamgoose's point about conveyors, I've thought for years that they weren't conveyored, but a while back a friend of mine had randomly stuck an int turret on a conveyor for convenience but didn't load it, and we were both surprised when it started firing at the local spiders. Maybe it was some feature of a mod, but I'll be darned if I know which one. :P Or maybe the conveyor thing was changed at some point in vanilla? Anyway, haven't bothered to actually verify either way in vanilla since I never use int turrets anyway. They're only good against characters; for small grids, gatlings all the way for me.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the rockets are nuclear at all. I think the uranium in the rocket represents more of a depleted uranium penetrator, and the magnesium is the explosive.

really enjoyed this one though i think my power grid didnt cause everytime i was like lets finish this video the power went out for like an hour or i was busy the entire day come home and then have the power fail on me

With your hybrid grid detector... the detector was probably a static grid, or tryingto be one. Slap a control panel on the detector, and then tell the (sub)grid to convert to ship. It is probably trying to convert to station... you can also name the subgrid so it is clear in the entity list.

I see your still using 1 hotbar if u press ctrl plus a number u can switch between hotbars

I *think* interior turrets cant shoot you if you get right up close to them, so if it's just one on its own you can wait for it to look away then rush it and grind it. (Disclaimer - I don''t know if your mod set might have changed things)

Your not an idiot just new to the game fixed guns are fun but if you want more survivability turrets are better and can aim better/faster coupled with a ai defense turret they can target and shoot very effectively at longer ranges. On top of that you can make them target specific targets like power of offensive systems.

Not sure what mods your running but I can't recomend Splitsies interior turret nerf enough. Unless you just want to fight in ships. No getting them without tunneling in vanilla IMO. Just lots and lots of death.

Ever built a large grid mining ship. But I did attach my small grid mining ship to the large grid ship and mi e like that.

Auto cannon is great, If you like being lazy use the 2 turrets on either side of the cockpit with conveyor converter. Set to target weapons.

I other great idea is to have them target weapons, default is power or character.

You could just have made a remote controlled missile and fly it straight in. warheads are fun.
