The Z still reels in the Eray from 60-130 mph ☝🏾 I primary race people on the fwy at that speed. It’s rare I do pulls at the light.

Go Jesse! Thanks for this video. I test drove the E Ray but it seemed like the electric motor power was not charged or making that high pitched sound. So with minimal charge it felt no faster than my Stingray Z51 but better grip / handling. Better ride but not that light weight feeling wished that motor was charged prior to the test drive or the dealership didn’t want the car to go too fast during a test drive not sure why

Man, I agree .. the stock ERay wheels are awful, ... but the replacement wheels you bought ... are almost equally as bad! 🤨 Would have been a decent wheel until they added the "buzy" outside ring around the otherwise good looking spokes! Result is ... a dizzy hot mess! ... Man, .. would love to see the ERay with a beautiful set of C8 ZR1 Replica wheels in Bronze, Polished or Black Chrome! .. YEAH!!!

Big fan of your content Jessie! Love, love, love my 2025 Eray 3LZ HTC! Wish it revved as high as the Z06, but I prefer an American large displacement V8 sound, reminiscent of my past Z06’s (C5 and C6). Respectfully disagree with you regarding your strong dislike of the stock Eray wheels. Got mine polished and have received lots of wheel compliments. One race I can win over the Z06 (or your aftermarket wheels) is cleaning time of the stock Eray wheels which can be hand wiped (including almost the entire caliper) in no time flat, especially compared to your spider web aftermarket wheels. How many days do they take to clean 🤪The torque on demand and the dig from the hole make the Eray an endless hoot to drive. NO REGRETS WHATSOEVER and the Eray is less expensive than the Z with the same spec. All C8 owners are stuck on perms-smile!! Rock on GM 💪🏻🇺🇸❤️

😂 had to laugh at 5:10. I just ate Chick-Fil-A in my brand new C8 yesterday. Love that Cacti with the brown interior btw! That is EXACTLY how I want to spec my E-ray (I built a model ‘94 ZR-1 when I was a kid with those colors). Not ready to spring for an E-ray just yet though. Used to have a Charger in a gray tone similar to the Seawolf too. Great taste to both of you.

I added the big zr1 wing on mine and z07 aero kit. I feel like these cars are just a bit incomplete.

I have been waiting for MONTHS for someone to do a real performance comparison on the C8 Z06 vs C8 E-Ray. One that featured side by side racing. Racing from a dig and roll racing from 30-130mph. A video like this has been missing. I was hoping that this would have been it, but I’m gonna have to wait a little longer. Next video, less talk and more action. Otherwise, another nice clip.

Nice comparison video, Jesse. Both amazing cars, my preference would be the e-ray for the mellow character, AWD, but also wicked fast when you want to fly.

Thanks Jesse, good comparison video. Can’t believe you don’t like the E-Ray wheels, my opinion the best wheels on any C8. I was on the waitlist for both the E-Ray and Z06. Would have been completely satisfied getting either one as my dream corvette. My E-Ray allocation became available first, so got myself a 3LZ Riptide Blue Coupe. Because of my budget, was able to spec out my E-Ray with a few more goodies versus the Z06. I do like the look of Rich’s minimalist SWG Z06 and the sound is just incredible.

The engine revs are limited if the car isn't warm enough. I ran into this at the beginning of my launch video. Once I drove the car for a bit, it allowed me to rev it all the way and do 0-60 launches. Personally, I like a combination of your two cars, and I love my standard ERay wheels, so we definitely disagree there! 💥 Mine's a one-year ERay color too... Hypersonic Gray Metallic.

I've had 23 Stingray, 24 Z06 and now 25 E-Ray. The Stingray is the best value in the C8 line-up. The Z06 is the best track (road course) car and the most exotic (for now). The exhaust and rev range are absolutely incredible. Unfortunately GM pushed it to be the most track focused of any Corvette they ever made and the ride can be punishing on rough roads. The E-Ray is the best street car, autox car and drag racing car if budget isn't a concern (at least for now). The AWD and the torque from the electric motor makes for brutal launches that will leave any other Corvette behind. If I could have two Corvettes, I'd have a Z06 and the E-Ray, but if I can only have one, for my use, it's going to be the E-Ray.

Put that Corsa Extreme system on that ERAY....different ballgame.
