I enjoyed seeing your WIP parade. I was fascinated with your mash up. I can't figure out how you did this. It is fabulous! This year, I am most proud of a project or ministry I took on all by myself. I fixed meals for people who I knew were sick or some dealing with cancer. Many I did not know very welI, but I would just call and say, " I'm bringing you a meal you can have tonight or save for another time." This month, I started treatment for a reoccurrence of cancer, and people have offered to help me in so many ways. I can appreciate even more how helpful those meals I took were as others help me.

I'm proud that I spent over a month with my folks, helping them out, but also just making memories. :) I did a lot of knitting in 2024, and I am also proud that I managed to use more yarn than I bought. :)

I am proud that I got out of my introverted comfort zone and went to three cross stitching retreats, one of which is a three-day local quarterly retreat. Being around others that share my passion, has been so good for my mental health. I am over 70 and figured it was about time - the pandemic was the catalyst to realizing just how precious every day is and we should find time to do things that bring us joy.

I rang the bell from bc and moved back in to my home after a broken pipe took out our foundation. Ended up with paralysis after seizure as effect of said bc treatment and am dealing with that. Floss tube has gotten me through much and inspired me to start stitching while being less than mobile. January was welcome…as this year MUST be less eventful. 😂 Mary Oliver is a delight in my life. Thank you for her shout out.

In July, 2023, at 58, I started walking every day to improve my health, working up to 5 miles a day. In 2024, I continued to walk 5 miles almost every day and quit drinking soda, which helped me sustain a 40 pound weight loss. Although the time commitment to walk 5 miles a day and work 40 hours a week cuts into my stitching time, it's worth it to me. I am most proud of these accomplishments in 2024!

Steph, I loved this video; I’ve kind of missed your videos where you just focus on you and your stitching! I’m most proud of the fact that in 2024, my husband and I took an epic trip to celebrate our 25th anniversary, driving Route 66 from Chicago to L.A. It was an expensive and at times difficult trip, but we had an amazing time, and I’m so glad we had the courage to do it. 😊

I bought fabric, dyed fabric and started The Fisher King the day it was released! I love it so much!!! I’m proud of just cross stitching last year for the sake of cross stitching. I let go of my goals and just enjoyed the process. I started new things, I let go of projects I didn’t like and had fun. And on top of that I was pregnant and had a baby. It was a great year.

I'm proud of the fact that I have stayed focus on getting healthy in my older (75+) years after a heart incident kind of knocked me on my heels. Finished 22 WIPs last year (not ffo'd, but stitched) and that kept my hands and mind busy. Heading into the new year with a much more positive attitude!

Hello from Tennessee! My hubby and I cleared property by hand and bought a pottery barn and had it set up. We're so excited to dive into a new hobby. 😊. Pretty proud of all the work and a future hobby. I've totally enjoyed stitching and watching your video until you got to the Long Dog Sampler part. I'm so flipping glad to hear another completely obsessed person rant about the patterns and art. I'm so jealous you've already gotten the 7th wave. 😊😊. I just started "Rain Dance" because of the kokopelli. Thank you for sharing all your amazing work and can't wait till the next video. 😊.

In 2024 I went to my first in person retreat. I was kind of nervous because I knew no one but it was one of the best experiences. Everyone was so welcoming and as soon as I could, I signed up for a similar retreat in 2025. I am proud that I took that chance.

I am proud of cleaning out and organizing my craft room. In the process, I have gotten rid of many things that I realized I would never use. I had/have too much stuff and a limited number of years left to finish things, so it needed to be done. Sometimes that is so hard.

I am proud of myself that my daughter and I made it back to the homeland of Sweden in 3 or 4 generations since our family immigrated on my Mom's side for a visit to reconnect with family before connections are lost forever. Our cousin was 95 years old then and there was a big party to celebrate and met lots of family there. Also did a road trip for a reunion on my father's side of all his living brothers and sisters (He was one of 18). Seeing family and traveling great distances at the same time was quite an adventure. Years melt away when we all meet again.

I am proud of myself for learning to quilt in 2024. I have sewn a little over the years and I love to cross stitch, but quilting seemed like a stretch. I made two quilts last year. I'm 59 and I guess I'm just a late bloomer. I graduated college at age 53.😂 I love your finished. You choose different styles of patterns than I am often drawn to and I like that. There are so many styles out there. Happy 2025 to you!

In 2024, I was working a job I loved. I was an operation manager in charge of animals for a pet store. My boss however was a horrible man. In July I was a offered a new job. I am less than 10 years from retirement. I put my furniture in storage. Packed the car with 3cats, 4 parakeets, a hamster, a turtle, and what clothes that would fit. I drove 4 days and 2400 miles to a new life. I now live in a small studio apartment and teach English Language Arts to 6 graders. I feel like life had been just waiting for to me start living it.

Your finishes are just stunning I am low key jealous u got so many done in '24! U def have some good wips goin, too and I'm excited for ur long dog starts! I have had my eye on tap dancers; I just love those faucets for some reason 😂 but I've yet to pull the trigger on it lolol The thing I'm most proud of myself for achieving in 2024 is I FINALLY made the dentist appt I have been putting off for so long due to shame and fear (mostly of judgement) to get my teeth fixed. I was diagnosed w MG in 2020, but was symptomatic for a while b4 that, and with pregnancy, then poor health and now medication side effects my teeth have really suffered. But I finally said enough is enough and bit the bullet to make the appt- granted I cant get in til the end of April, but I made the first step to being more healthy and I'm super proud of that hurdle I got over. Talk to me again in the spring about it tho 😂 I WILL follow thru and not cancel! Lol CanNOT wait for market...I've seen a few sneak peeks and already have a few things on my must buy list! Super excited😁 Happy stitching🐈‍⬛🪡❤️
