Thank you! i usuallt just do mine with 1% milk, but when im able i always like to froth the milk and add a bit on cinnamon on top! coconut milk in it sounds delicious though, i will have to give it a try!

@spacekitten4225 fair enough lol, i was really fighting how busy the buildings were in comparison to the bg, so i threw in a lot of brush marks to try compensate. i honestly dont hate how busy it ended up but i can see how you think that

No there ain’t. It’s completely balanced, with the large size of the deer, the small buildings, it sends a message. That’s what art is supposed to do.

@DevilleQueen i grew up seeing a lot of dead animals, who were killed pretty directly from urbanization of their habitats. this piece was a bit of a tribute to those animals, reflecting on what i feel is such aunderdi-discussed tragedy, while imposing images of the city i live in over top. it was also thinking about the common response i get in this discussion, that its 'just the way it is', when i feel that in reality all of us benefit from a world where habitat and wildlife are pushed to the side for the sake of our lifestyles

oh totally, i think some of my earlier marker work was actually pretty nice, especially for where i was woth the rest of my work at the time!

yess for me mixed media just scratches an itch in my brain!! getting to use different materials for different textures and experiementing how they interact and layer really motivates me!

thats actually so fair though, mine used to take significantly longer than they do now! its so hard to compare how long a sketchbook takes to other people because sketchbooks are so personal in the intentions and goals in them! I've started letting myself do lower effort work in them to lower the stess over them, but also theyre the primary place where i draw! i dont really do much work outside of my sketchbooks while im on break. (also the moleskines arent crazy big or anything, ive had larger sketchbooks that took way longer) In a way my sketchbooks are their own individual works because while im working on finishing one thats my main artistic focus

thank you so much!! ive never done much weapon work but the style of splatoon weapons is so intruiging to me (plus lets me avoid any super detailed pieces) i had a pretty great art fight besides being super burnt out, hope yours went well!

@@CertifiedMoth That's honestly so fair tbh. I have drawn their weapons a few times and they have very silly designs! That's awesome, it sounds like you had fun! And I honestly feel the burn out too lol I did a lot more attacks than in previous years!
