I have my first project doll waiting (I have done the outer hairline, which is the front and the trickier imao because the holes are very close, no accidents yet. and I am waiting for the glue you suggested - i just ordered, should be here in a couple of days- so I can finish the reroot. I dont know what kind of hair i am using because I am using a black straight hair wig I had for a bjd doll 1/4 and I am cutting the strands from there. I think it is saran though because they feel natural, though not very soft. I am curious to see how it will look when its done. The concept here was that i had an agreement with my husband to work with what I have to see if i like it first before i give a ton of money in materials and then drop it. I like it ...A LOT.

Thank you so much for that glue info!!! Everybody uses this fabri tac or crystal glue and I cant find any of these in Greece. My options were UHU fabric/ Bison Fabric and Arlene`s fusion fabric glue which I dont know if they work. I did found your suggestion though only in one hobby store (30ml) and if it works for me (rookie) I will buy the big bottle.

The first diverse doll (the AA lingerie n. 5 Barbie doll) arrived after 2 years the BFMC line debuted. I don't think Mattel will wait 2 years to introduce more variegated dolls but it is easy to understand why they are moving slow after BFMC line was discontinued, they need to approach as many collectors as they can... and even if in social madial diversity is the most important thing, it's not the same while people are buying dolls, we should be honest, white Barbies still sell better than other... Collectors' community is a thing, the market is another, more big and without Social Media ideals. I do hope will have more diverse Silkstone dolls in the future! 💖

I was expecting for the pink collection a Latina Barbie because Mattel already released the white Barbie which I have so I wish more diversity with quality and made of Silkstone as well.

I actually think the Pink Collection doll would make a better choice for the Holiday Barbie. She’s got jewelry, a pretty gown, gloves, and a pretty hairstyle, and just overall better quality it looks like. Put her in the right holiday box and she’d be beautiful. I don’t know , I’m just not feeling the 2021 silver holiday doll. Her outfit looks cheap.

Holiday Barbies hold a huge place in my heart…I was born on Christmas so am naturally drawn to holiday/winter themed dolls, but primarily I received as a child was 89 Holiday Barbie. Thankfully she was on display in a cabinet these 30+ years rather than in a storage building w/ the others…all ruined by moisture & heat over the years😭. Now that I’ve rejoined the collecting world, I’m amazed by all the gorgeous Holiday Barbies that followed her! Last year’s was disappointing I have to admit, and that’s saying something for me because I love just about anything that glitters or is gold. But 2021’s does appear to be wonderful. Nothing against blonde Barbie, but I’m partial to brunettes & ethnic dolls, so am very excited about the sneak peek pictured doll❤️. I agree, the play line Holiday are cute, but I am more excited about the collector version. 🎀And I understand your love of the 90’s Barbies. Since I only grew up w/ 80’s Barbies, they were my favorite, but now that I am seeing all I have missed in the 3 decades, I have fallen in love w/ the 90’s Barbies just as much! 🎀 Enjoyed this review, first time seeing your channel, subscribed 😀

Hi! I liked this video because you unboxed a fashionista that I like a lot-the curvy Barbie with the gold hair and purple dress. It took me a while to decide whether or not to buy her, but now I’m glad I did. The dress style is actually very flattering to the curvy body shape. The Barbie without hair might look interesting with a head wrap of some type. Like you, I think the Barbie Extra playset will be popular with the kids. Some collectors will get it because of the exclusive doll that comes with it. Not something I will purchase, though. Thank you for showing the pictures of the Barbie Extra blue-haired doll with the extra outfits. If I find it, I might get it. I pre-ordered three of the new Barbie Extras and a couple of the Signature Looks dolls on Amazon. I have already seen some of them on EBay for sale at big markups. Boy, some people are so greedy! The designer on this doll is named Lisa Temming and you can check her portfolio online. She actually designed quite some dolls on this "Great Villains" line and I think this one Cruella was the first.

I loooove your collection! Yes, this year's Holiday Barbie looks more decent than last year's, especially the latina version with Kira facemold... And Totally Hair Barbie came before Glitter Hair, in fact Totally Hair being the best selling Barbie, started the trend for Mattel to release a long haired Barbie each year, such as Hollywood Hair Barbie, Glitter Hair, Cut and Style, Jewel Hair Mermaid, etc. Jewel Hair Mermaid is my all time favorite Barbie, I loved her soo much when I was a kid!

African Barbie Holiday is beautiful

Some people have gotten a couple of them (Malaysia) and they are 100 post bods, not MTM after all. The YT review also said that they are not as heavy as the first set.

I hope the Gold Medal Barbie can bend her knees like the original!!!🤞
