I've bought the OG ally z1E at 399 5 months ago and I have played so many games on it. It handle almost all of them including Indiana jones the great circle, God of war Ragnarok, star wars zedi survivor and more. The Ally X is almost 1000$ here and I don't think it is worth the upgrade considering the performance boost.

Personally I think TV size really starts to matter with this upgrade. I play on a 86” LG QNED85 and it really does make a difference I tried it on a 55” tv LG C1 and you definitely don’t see as much of a difference on the smaller screen. Smooth graphics on a good size tv is simply amazing.

I have a ton of game client besides Steam. Like PC game pass, epic games store, gog, ubisoft etc. Can I install those on Steamdeck?

I just want the classic original Pokemon games to get updated and upgraded in every way possible for the old titles and new names

To make use of all its software, it's best for playstation, but it can work on all other devices. But the software is the exclusive customisations you can do for playstation.. It's not like other scuffs have customizable options, so if you're not using it on PS, then it's the same as other scuff

We might argue that Sony itself isn't focusing on PSVR2 game development, but this side of gaming is flourishing, a lot of PC/Oculus/Meta quest games are currently being ported to PSVR2 and they perform outstandingly (Pavlov and Into the Radius are two great examples of this), so the environment couldn't be in a better shape

If I had to guess why there not trying to make first party games anymore it would be the pc adaptor. With that you can play thousands of vr games from steam. If I had to guess the next vr PlayStation does might not even use a PlayStation to run but a pc with some form of identification so psvr3 players get Psvr3 games early then oculus and the other headsets get it after a while.

Xbox dropping their new Gen console first is a chess move but they need to follow strong afterwards. Once PlayStation drop, they'll theoretically have better specs in hardware because a 2 year wait can make all the difference

If they can’t have the gambling in there, why not find some way to change it? I’m not a fan of changing older things but if it’s a scenario like this, I would understand. Maybe make it so that the player could go into the Game Corner but not play the slot machines and find some alternate way to get Porygon.

The battery life doesn't really bother me, since I use USB connection. As long as it has good functionality, I'll buy it

Playing PC games on a 7 inch display is too tiny imo, that's why I got it over a heavily discounted Rog Ally. The speakers suck and it's a bit less ergonomic, but those are the only two real downsides, also you're not playing full res games on the Ally too, so perfect 800p interpolation is actually why the Legion display makes so much sense.

Bro, you’re wrong about the battery life. You must have a bad battery. I say that because I used to have a dualsense controller, the original one. And now, I switched to the edge. My first one had like a 3 hour battery life. But my edge has like a 6 hour battery. I don’t play all day, so it doesn’t bother me.
