Got mine in April. Love it. Just wish it had more RAM, had the power to really utilize the 1600p resolution, and lenovo would spend more time pushing updates for legion space and their proprietary drivers. Otherwise? @@thatsmean2929 I may be too. And truth be told, I normally play on 1200p at 60hz. That said, i do wish it had a little more power and more ram. As for the battery life argument, get a laptop...... although the legion go CAN play AAA games at medium settings at 1920x1200, it is a handheld first and foremost so playing at 1280x800 on low settings should be expected. I bought mine not long after launch not relay expecting much from it but have been very surprised by what it can do. i have completed forbidden west solely on the legion go witch it handled really well and have even attempted some VR gaming on it with mixed results. I think that if you came at this with realistic expectations then it is an excellent bit of kit, even if the screen is overkill for the APU

If you plan to play new AAA games on legion go, you need to learn how to use AFMF2 and Losseles scaling, its a general problem with all handled pc. But if you learn how to use it right, you literally can play any game at 1200p easy, and this screen at 1200p its really amazing, better than 2k 27 monitor. And if you play some indie games like hades 2 at 144 fps and 1600p its a real eye candy. The only bad point for the handled against steam deck oled or asus rog X, is the battery. 1h is just not enough.

VRR is complete unnecessary on this. And windows is absolutely the best OS for a handheld. The Linux backend on the Steamdeck is what makes it a fucking turd and I have both steam decks.

Lenovo still can't figure out how to make legion software buttons work. Have to mash it 10 times to get into legion space. Also to this day, Custom tdp is still a joke. It work sometimes but most of the time 25 or 30w make games stuttery until you go back to 20w performance mode. Like why is 10w faster than 30w in games😂. If I had a redo. Bazzite solved all of my problems tho. Lenovo is literally the worst thing that happened to legion go

Its tooo early to buy any handheld pcs for gaming. Let then do R&D .. thingswill get better from gen3
@KillerCam1020Ай бұрын
Tbh it will always be too early, but I personally enjoy playing games on a handheld even if it’s compromised. Of course something better is always on the way, but I’d rather have something to play on in the meantime.

Yoi shouldn't be buying these handhelds for heavy AAA gaming. I just purchased one and it will solely be used for light gaming and indie point and click games.

you can actually go into the bios of the legion go and change RAM allocation, 16 gigs is on the low end but perfectly capable of running all games out at the moment you can find information on changing the ram allocation on the r/legiongo subreddit
@Rr-j4xАй бұрын
dont forget asus messed up with ally z1 and z1 extreme with quality issue before they released ally x. if you just bought ally x you are lucky but for those who bought the regular ally im pretty sure they not that happy. legion go could run 98% of games it not like 24gb ram,vrr bigger battery made the ally x 100% better its more like 5 to 10% better

@@Rr-j4x yes i know .. its not alot but vrr and. the ram. makes games runs smooth not only that doesnt crash all the time due to ram.

dude steam deck it s a entry level console and legion go it s a gaming console, it s big but come on ,you never experienced a better console with such a good and big display .And yes ,for using the included mouse you need some skills ,and you think its useless ,can you just take a mouse with you and and and but let s see all what this console can make ,you just take the console with you and you have a console or a display with controllers and mouse for a casual gaming on the go ,so don t say shit about it because the another consoles ,don t have the features of legion .
