This is a vibe. I love the gothic bluegrass but im here for this too!

I thought they disappeared. Nope. This is why I hate the music industry. These folks were all over the radio and well known. Now the industry abandoned them because they don't "fit anywhere" That's not how you handle talent. Edit: i just read below that they bought themselves out of their label to go independent. If that's true, I am behind them 100%

Good heavens, I like the song but you were a role model for young women, people love your country songs because it was refreshing not to have the same naked trash and auto tune music coming out, way to ironically conform trying to “find yourself”. I wish you luck and all the best.

I'm sadly not a fan of this era but yes to their pop rock country sound. A fusion of country flavors might make life better for my music exploring. I wish Country EDM, Country Dubstep, and Country Electronic could exist anywhere or be something in the country realm

Late to the party, but awesome to see Prada Marfa in a song, and have The Band Perry in my backyard 🎉

Wow, this band went off the deep end. I used to love their songs and videos.

I don’t understand the point of this song.. is it supposed to be ironic? As in: all the pretentiousness is unfounded because what is being ‘worshiped’ is fake? Marfa Prada is an art installation/fake Prada storefront. Or, am I giving too much credit to BP for deep subject matter?

I like this, but I love their early music. I see they filmed in El Paso, Marfa and White Sands❤😊

Sure wish they'd go back to what they did better.😕They're extremely talented no doubt, but it doesn't feel like a good fit. Love y'all anyway.❤️

Wistfully recall the quasi-country band of a decade past. Artists' music and personalities tends to age along with them. Nothing remains static, for good or otherwise, unfortunately. Eventually, there is no inspiration in their work. 😔

year later but they never even wanted to make country music lmao. Signed with a label and made hella money off their country music and now just make stuff they actually want to make.

*"Lord, make me a rainbow, so I'll shine down on my mother She'll know I'm safe with you when she stands under my colors Life's not always what you think it oughta be, Not even gray, but she buries her baby"* Pure... poetry. I can smell, see, and feel the chill in a subtle breaze and the warmth of the colors in these lyrics. I was genuinely touched and as stupid as it sounds I'm crying right now thinking about it. *"Wear your dark shades, we're in mourning But we're going to party until the morning come. Nothing lasts forever, no, you can't hold on Nothing lasts forever, so what's done is done First you die, feel, then you cry, then you heal, Nothing lasts forever, so just have fun (Just have fun, just have fun Falling is a feeling that I never wanna feel again, feel again Dear departed, d-dear departed"* I feel *nothing* here. It's bland, vauge, uninspired, repetitive and just empty. Especially the way it's delivered. She has one of the most angelic voices and it's covered up here. Why? The mandalin is immediately one of the first things I think about when I think "The Band Perry" but are there even real instruments here? Do as you please, truly. I'm not going to say this is the End or whatever and I'll be checking in later to see where you go from here but this song just makes me think of how much better that other song is
