Love the version Deep Purple made in 2021, during the covid lockdown.

Does anyone else catch that Neil’s snare sounds different and kinda deeper near the end of his solo? Why is that?

Listen to this... Then Listen to the opening of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica... No one and I mean no one can convince me that RUSH didn't influence Metallica and countless other Rock bands ❤️🇨🇦❤️

Better even than the Who's version!!! Makes me wonder what other songs the terrific trio would've managed to spice up had Neil Peart fared better and they'd had another itch... 🙂

I love rush and this solo. Max Roach, Elvin Jones, John Bonham, Buddy Rich, or countless other drummers had 13 toms, 15 cymbals, double bass, or smoked cigarettes with a 4 piece and got loose

Somehow this song is superheavy, it has this raw energy. Eddie Cochran was a genius, he wrote it when he was only 19.
