Stevie played entire tours at a level few guitarists will ever reach for even one solo. Maximum intensity on full display. Best guitar player I ever saw, and I have seen hundreds.

I met Buddy as a young kid growing up in S. TEXAS he was playing in Houston a lot. He played Hendrix and a few songs for me and my family. My sis ended up meeting his roadies and he was out for a night looking for some fire. Buddy changed me from rock like hairspray bands to the blues. The stories that man has man you'd be surprised. I really only knew of Hendrix and Chuck Berry well put it this way Buddy is a master of the blues if their ever was one. One night in Victoria TX in the late 80s was magical. Thank you Buddy and you were right Lil Stevie Vaughan brought them blues back

I was lucky enough to have seen Stevie in 1989 at The Tower Theater in Philadelphia and had an out of body experience. It’s a 3,000 seat venue and he played like he was at Woodstock! Best concert ever! He passed the day after my 31st birthday and I cried when I heard the news…

I was born in Chicago and was a big blues fan. However, I was too young to go to the clubs to hear Muddy Waters, BB King, Howling Wolf, Hounddog Taylor, and my other favorite blues artists. I left Chicago when I was 19 and recently returned. Unfortunately, all my favorites died while I was gone. Thankfully, Buddy Guy and his Chicago night club have been my link to the past.

Brilliant! This song reminds me of my burnt out Vietnam vet uncle Dave. I give him full credit for turning me on to rock-'n'-roll. The only music I knew until then were polkas and Laurence Welk. Thank you Uncle Dave! Without you I might have turned out square. Rest in peace 🍻
