Kid lives and has his own music school in the Carver area of my home town of Plymouth Ma., so he isn't playing out as much as he used to. Not only the nicest guy but a world class, killer blues guitarist!

Thats about the most soulful improvised blues guitar solo you'll hear in a long while.

Yes, Oldspirit189/cryingstrat1059, I consider myself very privileged to have seen those great shows. However: the T'Birds show that stands out above all was in a small bar in Birmingham, England, early 1980s, when they were promoting 'What's The Word' Kim's harp sound was huge (his double-stops sounded like an eight piece horn section) his vocals astounding and the rest of the guys were at their best. Jimmie Vaughan looked like he was The King of The World - and right there and then, he was!

Kid Bangham can play guitar. Never heard much of him, but saw him with the Thunderbirds at the Sonoma County Fair Grounds and was impressed.

Hi Oldspirit189 It was probably more than a rumour...I don't know if there was negative rivalry going on but I do know (because I was there) that when this band played on two occasions in London in the 1990s, Kid stole the show each time. One time it was a long solo (six or more choruses) on Wait On Time, which was a model of economy and taste yet powerful, without being loud. The other time it was a superb solo worthy of B.B.King on 'Live At The Regal', on a slow blues, maybe Full-Time Lover.
