What I have here in the US is a 2017 Rogue that is really is a Qashqai underneath. What makes it different from other Rogues is it has a 2 liter engine (gasoline) and the other Rogues that are not a sport model have a 2.5

Great video. I have a driveshaft clunk and had the shaft and stub replaced, only to still have the noise. Could this be because the wrong stub was used, or maybe internal gearbox play?

@@richardthorrington I wish I had an answer for you.. but I don’t think it can be because of wrong stub size…noise maybe coming from completely different place…for example I had worn water pump which was making weird noises 🤔

You made that look easy,just replaced my master cylinder on my wifes qashqai and it was a real nightmare to get back in,then having to bleed pipe to get pressure back in the clutch pedal,thanks for the video bud.

good tutorial ,I have the T5,and the torque settings are tighten to 200,then slack off 180 degrees, then torque back up to 200,mine is the 2.5 tdi

Hi again, What brand of shaft did you order? I see it has the beefed up carrier bracket compared to the sheet metal bracket fitted to the old one. They can crack I believe. Cheers, J

@@jersovauto Thanks for that.....I had Meyle in mind. A company on Fleabay are doing a deal on the os shaft plus the stub axle but their photo shows the sheet metal bracket. I shall enquire. I wonder if you could also advise me on the minimum length of 6mm hex bit to reach the stub securing screw? 👍👍

Hi, How is your gearbox performing with the Mannol oil? I've read a few forum comments saying that you should only use the branded VW oil as it is thinner and rules out stiff gear changes when cold. Have you noticed any difference or other issues ? Cheers, J

@@jimmywilson6388 Hi, so far so good no problems at all… OEM parts r the best I would always recommend original VW parts, but it comes with relevant price tag.. availability can be another issue too.. imo fresh aftermarket oil is better then dirty old original one… another thing u have to take into consideration what if u have a very high mileage dirty oil might be preventing ur gears from slipping…but cases like that r rear… in regards of cold 🥶 weather Ireland 🇮🇪 has relatively mild climate so I don’t think this should be an issue in here. I am struggling to do the last step. I cannot get the bleeder valve pipe into the “2nd position” I am trying to push the metal clip downwards and the pipe to the right? Is this correct do you have any tips. No fluid or air is coming out.

@@curtisyoungs9382 Yes it is correct! Clip down and push right at the same time until it stops… Make sure you have plenty of brake fluid in your reservoir!!! On max mark..do not let it run dry!!! If still struggling perhaps try to prime master cylinder itself be injecting brake fluid with syringe 💉 take needle off , fill syringe with brake fluid, take top tube off which goes to ur master cylinder…take it off there it connects to ur brake fluid reservoir and inject brake fluid into ur master cylinder… pump clutch pedal…perhaps press in once…then inject more brake fluid… reattach tube back … and try to bleed it now… Hope it helps!!!

Some Chinese diesel heaters can't be installed on a side bracket. I bought one and same thing as yours happened over fuelling. My heater started popping with flames out of it😅😮. I thought it was going on fire. Instead i bought a autoterm 2d instead expensive but they last longer

@@finno123456 Probably autoterm is a way to go.. Nowadays they r more affordable… my Chinese heater works fine now although I had to replace heater temperature sensor twice now…:/ in video it smoking cos I primed it to many times and flooded it .. Diesel heater is a great piece of kit! Love mine! 👍 🌡️ ☀️

@@scottkelly-e5x New stub comes with new seals and bolt…since my seal inside gearbox which surrounds ur stub was fine I didn’t bother changing it.. perhaps when I will be changing stub next time I’m gonna have to do it. It’s really not that difficult to do.. u just need to pry an old one and then carefully place new one with light tap of rubber mallet. Good luck with yours! And thanks for watching!!! 👍 🤜

Why have both slider and folding seat, wouldn't the swivel be redundant if you fold the seat. Also during the first step of the M10 spines if you slacken the bottom 2 then it will lift easier

@@warrensurtees6552 Just gives you versatility … u can swivel, fold, slide it… u can swivel it first and then fold and slide it… use as a table for example and so on… Only though about slackening it afterwards:) learn from my mistakes 😜 Thanks for watching 👍 🤜

Hi there, great video. I'm about to out a 300w solar panel on the roof of a t4. Where did you the cross bars, would be a better job than drilling but with the larger panel it will need to be a lot more secure with the wind catching it. Cheers
