I can answer that a lot better. Most should not join the Marines. Even of thoughs who do join, its not like we truly enjoyed our time until we got our dd214. I think, unless you wanna be a fucking killer, do something else. USMC isn't a joke. You're committing to something serious. Really fucking serious. Here's a quick example if you're reading and thinking about enlisting. I did this 240 "O course" sorta thing. It's was 5 miles long, obstacles, carried the 240 the whole time, and... its was in 100% swamp, not a bit of dry ground. We start the course at 5am in 16 degree weather. Think about that before you join. I did an obstical course with an m240, 30lb pack, through a muddy swamp, in 16 degree weather. You'll have an easier time climbing everest. Ive never personally climbed that peak, but I have climbed a lot of them. That day with the 240 would dead ass be harder than everest. And stuff like this is common. Here's another one. Be prepared for a man to inspect your rooms cleanliness every Thursday. And it has to be clean, like... you'll take the vent cover off and get dust out of it sorta clean. If it's not clean... you'll take everything you own out of your room and start again. Sfmf

Wonder how much those homeless veterans make? Obviously, not enough for a home. Those 22 veterans who commit suicide every day, need this inspirational video. Dead veterans can't complain.

That was one hell of a non-answer, sir. It would have been better for you to simply mention a couple of things that would be automatic disqualifiers and then leave it at that.

In late July early August, I decided to join the Marines, my Recruiters were really cool guys, and the initial idea was for me to ship out near the end of October. But things kept getting pushed back because I have Asperges, and the Marine Corps kept sending my waivers back asking for more and more information, it was fine because I am overweight, and we had Physical Workouts twice per week, and eventually, I was running a mile and 1/2 in about 13 minutes, and 13 seconds. But sadly, after 4 months of hard workouts and hard fights to get me into the corps, I was rejected, not just because of the Asperges, but because I'm also still a bit overweight, and nearly 25 years old, so it was the perfect storm. Now I'm signed up with the Navy as a Submarine crewman, it only took about a week for them to accept me, and I ship out this February. I'm still doing PT with my Marine Recruiters, my Navy Recruiters are cool, but the Marines and the rest of the Poolees have all become my bros (tho now they call me a squid, haha) and I'm proud to have worked with them, I never would have gotten where I am without their pushing and support. Maybe in a couple or a few years, if I decide to switch jobs or re-enlist, I will try for Navy Corpsman Greens, just for the chance to serve alongside the Marines on the ground. Only time will tell...

Jesus loves you! He’s the only God and the only way to heaven and He paid the price for your sins so you have a chance to know Him and receive eternal life. Nothing you’ve done or will do can earn you a spot in heaven, so Jesus took your place as a sinner and paid off your debt so that you could have a spot in heaven upon belief in Him and repentance. Jesus loves you🙌🏻
