Admin has always been FUBAR. I got out in 2002 because I couldn't get 4th FSSG to finish the paperwork for a lat move and augmentation.

He's in the Reserves, Good Conduct Medals are only awarded to Active Duty Marines.

@bruceadams9542 Also, Reservists get the Selected Marine Corps Reserve Medal for 3 years of satisfactory service in the Reserves. It's the gold and red medal the Sergeant is wearing to the left of his NDR medal. It's essentially the Reserve equivalent of the Good Conduct Medal.

Ask him why there's a Marine Reserve Bridge unit that didn't go to Iraq in 2003, instead took an Army National Guard unit with them instead? Or how I've never seen them pull equipment out in 10 years to build a single bridge.

I love the mariens the last real branch out there… however I kinda hate how genisis is causing a recruiting shortage the whole point of bootcamp is to weed people that arnt fit for it out. Anyway love your vids please make a vid on genisis and why congress should remove it. Thanks

No. Whether your active duty or reserve, you still hold that rank. You don't even need to be in the same branch. A Senior Airman outranks a PFC in the Marine Corps.
