I find your reaction confusing. If one takes their obligation on the sacred texts of the Bible, Torah, or Koran; they all describe homosexuality as deviant behavior. If a Mason commits such acts he has violated his obligation against the very light he has chosen to make his obligation on. Masons are under the Noahide laws which includes fornication (all sexual immorality).

I met MW and he's a nice guy. And I have to say as a member of the younger crowd of Masonry I think he is spot on about why people aren't joining. It's something I try and talk about with older brothers. The younger men in our society are desperately looking for good men to look up to and mentor them. Our older members are the best resource we have. I have grown so much just from sitting and talking to them. But if the people outside our craft don't know about this great resource they won't understand what they have to gain.

The moment women are granted membership in co-ed lodges it ceases to be a fraternity. The demits will far outnumber the gains. Men deserve male only spaces and apart from freemasonry we really only have either the priesthood or the men's restroom.
