Oh yeah because people modify their exhausts to scare people. This woman's a blithering idiot!!! Modified exhaust systems are modified for performance you idiot I hate these uneducated politicians sick of them. Why don't you solve a real world issue moron like starvation or homeless issues that your party created. Or maybe kids who have no shoes. Typical leftist idiot women.

Is this supercharged and turbocharged? I’m about to drop 15k on a 1000 hp build zl1 but can I port supercharge and twin turbo it and save some money? New to this don’t bash just help teach me if ya can?
@Omega_TTRSАй бұрын
You can twin charge these cars but, that’s most likely not what you’re doing and not what this car has. There’s all kinds of different ways to make power. It all just depends on what you want and what flavor best suits you.

I thought they are 400hp stock. Is this a 3.0 tt ST or a 2.3t ST-line?
@TaterBeardDudeАй бұрын
It’s 400hp stock at the crank, not the wheels. Brake horsepower will always be greater than wheel horsepower.

For those of you who want to really get the maximum benefits, you can get rid of the factory oil cooler. This will also benefit you, as the oil coolers are known to leak at high mileage, as the gaskets on the mating surfaces of the oil cooler deteriorate. Most people tend to actually get defective, leaking ones straight out of the dealership, unfortunately… Temps fall anywhere from 20-35 F with the Mishimoto engine oil cooler kit, paired with the factory oil cooler delete. If you want to run your own setup, just set up a parts list or get an available kit, and then seek out a thermostatic oil cooler feed. If you live in a cold environment, this will really help the engine heat up properly during cold starts. Engine oil operates at an optimal temp range of around ~200-215 F, I believe (someone correct me if I’m wrong).

I ended up getting a long 20’ ft roll of titanium heat-resistant wrap (like the one for exhaust/headers), and I split it in half, for each oil cooler line. It was a little shorter and didn’t cover all the way to the threaded fittings, but I was fine with that. I ended up securing the heat wrap with 2-3 plastic zip ties on each side; they should hold up fine. The wrap hopefully prevents chafing against the crossmember and other parts, but I mostly like the heat soak protection it adds as well!

The music is a negative. I'd much rather hear no music accompanied by lots more narration/explanation, such as... you really only need a caster/camber kit if you can't achieve alignment given the steering geometry and ride height - that usually means if you're not changing the ride height, you won't need one. How about explaining the amount of ride height change that would force you to install a caster-camber kit on the subject car (2005 Pontiac GTO) at least? Also, how long did the installation take?

Hopefully you have a stick tranny. If you have the cvt you are screwed ! Just won't handle the extra weight of the larger tires/wheels and the extra rotational torque needed. The cvt is a good transmission but it has its limitations. Every wonder why trucks and such don't use them.
