can someone make an MFT or e-mount dumb mount? I dont need electronic connections, just want to reuse some lenses i already own.
@AltcineКүн бұрын
I don't think its possible because of the pin configuration. They will have a different amount of pins in a different configuration. It's possible to get them working with a custom ribbon but its risky.

@nicolapaoli456112 күн бұрын
I strongly advise to get used to locating pins. If your cold shoe mount doesn't have them, your monitor with turn around after some time, same for that NATO rail. One point screw is nowhere near enough. Especially if you use it to hold your camera. Why you don't use a second screw on the second 1/4" thread and angle the handle after? The front weight will force it to get loose, that's not the way to use that rail. It's not true that there are no cages, did you do a tiny bit of research before saying things in a video?! There are several, MID49, Kondor Blue (that allows you to choose also some sort of half cage as a light option) or, if you aren't too scared by weight, XLCS is a brilliant one. We are talking about small weights anyway of course, it's not an Alexa to carry. With a very simple Google search, or on B&H, you will see that it's also not true that there are no adaptors BP-U to small V-Mount. IndiPRO Tools and DigitalFoto make some different versions. Not personally what I would like because if I am right they are held just by the BP-U connector and it's not possible to use a rod mount or fix them at the bottom somehow, but they exist, in stock, and they work. Out of all the manufacturers, why do you think Ignite Digi would care to do something like that? They are specialized in high end stabilization-aimed accessories. It would probably be great but cost 10 times more than the other options around, as pretty much every other generic rigging parts they make.

@MrJayclas15 күн бұрын
I’m able to match my Panasonic S Series camera with my Cinema 6k almost perfectly by adding 400 temperature to the S1 in post. They seem to have white Balance differences but if you use a grey card, you can match them perfectly in post. They are very similar. So if you want the lightest set up with AF the S5ii with a Black Magic Video Assist would be the lightest option. I don’t think you can match colors with Panasonic internal codec. Even though it’s good, it won’t match as well.
