Hi Joe. Beautiful images. How do you generates images with hasselblad logo and exif in the border.

Excellent review! Thanks for sharing your thoughts after 1 month of usage. I wondered if you could comment on your experiences with dust on that big sensor? Did you have any issues? From what I understand, there is no sensor “self-cleaning” feature (as there is on my GFX 100s) and your only option is to clean it manually with compressed air, as Hasselblad recommends in their owners manual. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

The sensor is big indeed however, I have not had the need to clean it and I haven’t had any dust issues with it at all. Remember that self cleaning sensors only just dust off a fraction of what you can do manually. This all depends on how you handle the camera even with self cleaning sensors.

I have used the X2D with a GFX since its launch 18 months ago. The sensor is a dust magnet when used outdoors and when there is a regular need to change lenses. The absence of sensor shake does entail that a gentle air blower must be used more often to keep on top of things. It is not a deal breaker.

Hi Joe, Thanks for your review. I need to get one advise out from this video. I am planning to buy X2D 100c and I am new to hassselblad, I am more interest of wedding and fashion photography. as your point of view , does this camera fit to my interest ? specially for wedding & event shoots...Do I need to keep additional camera kit ? could you please guide me.. Since I have limited budget and it is hard to afford two camera kits....please comment. Thank you ....

@@krishandanushka1931 it is perfect for those needs in terms of colour reproduction. However, the system is very slow unless you are willing to slowdown and are able to control shoot you will miss shots especially with live fashoin shoot

Great review, and thanks for sharing. I have the X2D and I never gave the 90 f3.2 a thought; I was partial to the 80mm F1.9. I am starting to reconsider the 90 F3.2 because of your review. Also, if you had a choice to get a used 80mm f1.9 or the 90 F3.2 around the same price and condition, which one would you choose? Also, How did you get the Hasselblad Frame/borders around your pictures?
@JoeElementz11 ай бұрын
If the prices of both lenses where the same I would still pick the 90mm as it has more reach which work for my needs. With regards to the frame you will find that in the exporting options in the Hasselblad Phocus app

any recommendation for small on camera ttl flash?

Great review... I'm still enjoying my X1Dii and although I would LOVE the X2D for the resolution, IBIS and some other features just can't justify the price and would rather spend some $$ on another lens. I currently have the 45p and do LOVE the image coming out of the camera but I'm looking for some more reach like you said. I would even consider a 135mm however it is still very $$$ compared to what I'm seeing on the 90mm about 1200$ more for the 135mm and it's a MASSIVE lens to carry around in the bag. The 90 seems to fit that niche pretty well with decent range and small package size of the lens.

I will be using this camera for Portraits and wedding photography so these two lenses are the best for my needs.
@dcrilley962411 ай бұрын
I had a loan of the 135mm lens for a week. I did not use it with the converter. I have used every Fuji Gf prime and zoom from 45mm upwards for landscape shooting. I had to concede that the 135mm lens is phenomenally sharp and having shot the same mountain side by side with the GF 120 macro, the 135 out performed it. I was not expecting this. Not at all. The GF 120 is a sharp act to follow. Not sure about the 135mm bokeh but it is an astoundingly sharp lens. I just wish Hasselblad would get their act together and produce some medium telephoto zooms to compete with the Fuji system. I

Pixii also has an internal SSD for storage. It has only the SSD for storage.

I thought I had replied to this already. OK, the Pixii can be had with 32, 64 or 128GB storage. It is an APSC BSI sensor so a lot of images can be stored, either as RAW or JPG but not as both. It also shoots RAW mono as well as RAW color. Pixii.fr.@@JoeElementz
