What apps are you using in the creation of this piece?
@rooshiemusic14 күн бұрын
It would be probably better to make a brief video to show but it's actually very simple. The first sound is BLEASS Alpha together with BLEASS Phaser and filter, bass is made in BLEASS Megalit. Vocal loop is made in Loopy Pro with Other Desert Cities granular delay, the "phone"effect was siply made by an equalizer by boostin frequencies around 400-700Hz and cutting the rest as far as I remember. Vocal with also ODC delay, I used Eos 2 as reverb and BLEASS Voices as harmonizer that I played on the ipad's screen. Then a couple of mixing plugins. I recorded stems and tweaked the mix in Logic Pro where I also mastered it. What's interesting here is that I used saturator to boost the top end of my vocal instead of the EQ according to one of the instagram tip I saw and I was thrilled about how beautifully it sounded, def will continue this practice in the future
@aquietgarden13 күн бұрын
@@rooshiemusic Of course, team Bleass! I saw elsewhere that you use Samplewiz 2, an instrument I absolutely love.

Oh thanks! For delays I use Other Desert Cities almost every time, I used it here for both the pingpong delay and granular delay. It's an amazing app! For reverbs I usually use Eos2

@@rooshiemusic Many thanks! I haven't found my favourite "plate" reverb yet, so I'm going to try out what you suggest. I'm using Altispace and Fluss at the moment :)
@rooshiemusic14 күн бұрын
@@SHLDMusic I heard about them but I somehow got used to eos2 because it's so simple to use and the sound of it is just as I like it without fiddling with parameter settings. Oh, I use the dark plate preset for my fluffy kick drums here (but with much lower mix) and I love it!

@rooshiemusicАй бұрын

@manmadeartists2 ай бұрын
@@rooshiemusic yes of course I would listen to it. And as it takes quite some time to be a more popular channel you might think why should it be worth it as maybe the numbers might not value any effort or like you said, why should anyone listen to it. But it’s so easy to share music with friends and then it is beyond the technical reasons why someone might find your channel. I found you due to koala tutorial search but i stayed for the beauty of your art (even if the tutorials really help). And I want to say that your glow in the dark drawing idea is so beautiful and I could imagine that as a video in Spotify, too. Sorry if i sound to overwhelmed haha but I am🥰😂

@@rooshiemusic yes I was looking for it and watched your livestream and I still have some videos in my list to watch like the interview you gave about koala. My setup has to be the smallest possible. So it’s my controller and my ipad. And I need to make music live as sound evolution is a main topic of my project. As a beginner I am still searching for every inspiring and playful workflow which in the same time should not overwhelm me too much as mastering a program is sometimes a real challenge itself. I am so thankful that you share your insights. It really helps a lot and the beauty of your sounds and songs give me hope and strength while struggling to sort all the input I get.
