What is the appearance after using it a few times? Looks like after a few minutes in the fire the cool design on the outside is gone.

@@chrisandokjin it’s not gone. I’ve put it in the fire several times since this video and it’s still g2g. Yeah there’s some discoloration, but overall it’s held up decently well.

Mate that's absolutely terrible application. There are solid white lines of wax next to dark grey bits that got no wax at all. It doesn't spread much when melted so you need to get it on evenly in the first place. Use an ironing board or your knee or something and do several thin layres.

Depending on the emergency situation i would recommend to not use the hand sanitizer unless absolutely necessary mainly because if the situation leads to you getting any open wound you'll need something to be able to disinfect yourself

Good point. The flip side is if it were below freezing in wet conditions, it doesn’t take a lot of fluid to get a fire going with this method. And one would still have hand sanitizer left for other purposes.
