I'm no Dart expert but I'm thinking 72 or older due to the non impact bumper required on all 73 and newer models.

😢 the auctioneers an idiot.They could have made more money by the peace.They gave it all away from nothing. I have been to auctions like that before and they made more money 💰 by the piece.

An Orange '70 Dodge Charger is sitting in the yard at an old country home about 4 miles from me. It's been sitting in the same spot for more than 40 years. Long enough that a tree has grown up thru the windsheild and had separated the front of the car from the rest of it. The car had never moved from that spot as long as I can remember, and I'm 59 yrs old. Tried to buy that car back in the early 80's .... was told its not for sale. Obviously that's the way its been since then. Sad 🙁

The problem I saw was they allowed 30 day to remove, but if I bought a car locked in the back like the GTOs and the guy in front dragged his feet for 25 days you're stuck. I wouldn't feel right dragging someone else's cars around to get to mine!

Back when I was a wee lad one of my buddies brothers had a new F150 pinstriped like that red one, his was black with white pinstriping and red interior if I remember correctly. 400 auto had a factory hd suspension and white wagon wheels with bigger tires. It would roast all four tires when locked in 4x4. He traded it four a black and silver bronco and lifted it

There were some good buys. I think that blue Cadillac was a steal. Not my cup of tea but it would have cleaned up nicely for a flipper.

that Merc was a really good deal, the sapporo (galant-charger triplet) is worth saving they were good little cars in their day. there were balance shaft issues though. I am glad were able to get the charger wheels for it, which will make it look much better than the hub caps!

There was several engines that sold as well as other various parts. It very well may have been there! Alot of guys were looking for/at the numbers.

Pretty well-run, efficient auction without 5 guys in identical hi viz shirts leaning-‘guarding’. Net a little high I thought. But not by much. A bag of chips?Just give that girl a fiver/keep the change. It’s for YT. We have these in my state. Less though. Big in Australia.

This brings back a lot of memories, owned a bright blue '78 Dodge Challenger w\5speed & a\c. Wasn't a bad car but it was the first one I ever saw that rusted from the top down.

Glad it brought back memories Lance. Rust was my biggest worry with this one being in Ohio, but it's surprisingly not too bad. Even the vinyl top looks OK. thanks for commenting.

@@WoodyFixit My car was from Ohio, how it ended up in SC I don't know. Those rims are the ones that came with the Challenger, the Sapparo had different rims.

It does not have a "400 Police Interceptor" - no such dog. It's a builder for a 400 stroker, the calipers & adapters for an 11.75" disc swap are the only things of value on it. Sorry, that's the reality

I just hated the thought of it surviving this long only to go to scrap. Hopefully I can free up the engine and pass it to someone that will fix it up.

@@WoodyFixit You should be able to free that up Pretty easily, That is a Nice car to Restore, I haven't seen one in a Long Time,back in the 80's Re mines,me of my Daytona Turbo, Just like in the Movie the wraith ,I bought Brand new.
