I've been concentrating on getting myself back to some kind of normality. Getting control of the my pain was number 1 and I'm kind of getting there now with the right treatments. @@didgeteria9068 thanks mate. I do apologise I havent been around. I have still got most of my RC's (I gave a few to friends in need) and still tinker with them when I can. They're all recently rebuilt with new bearings and fluids through out 👌 I got a video coming soon which I'm editing when I'm not building a new engine for my car lol.

@@PatsRC you're a kind human being mate ... it's good to have friends from what I can remember, I'm an emigrant, I don't have friends...I have my 3 ferrets and my rc cars ...I have this Carson Dirt Attack 1:5 6s but I saved money to buy a Spektrum 160a 8s and a 1275kv Xmaxx motor , both used , but work just fine ...but than I broke my spur gear...and it's expensive 🫰 , 50€ , so I have to wait a bit...bin more than a year since I last drove it , oh man I miss it...! Got 112 km/h out of it , than a tiny screw from the ring that hold the spur gear got lose and got between pinion and spur gear and broke both of them...luckily the rotor shaft didn't break 😅 ...maybe in a couple of months I'll buy the gears... expensive stuff though... I also managed to buy 2 4s batts to go 8s , really cheap - Ovonic lipo battery 4s on Amazon for like 40€ each... This car ...took me almost 4 years to save to buy one in second hand but I have it now ... You're building an engine?! Dude , that's bad ass . My grandfather was a bus mechanic 😎 . I'm going to cook dinner now , spaghetti and meatballs 🤤😋

The Carson is a good car I had another go on one around spring time, although it was not upgraded like yours is, it was a very good 5 minutes. What spur gear are you looking for? I could have a look through my pares box for you. Yes I'm building an turbo engine for my Volkswagen Golf lol. Its taking a while as I'm on a very tight budget. My engine in the car now is about to break so I was going to have to replace at some point.

@@BIGALSEXTREMERCS I've been busy stripping and rebuilding all my rc's with new bearings and oils etc ready for the year ahead. I've also been working on some designs for crawlers, but I kind of stalled at the moment because of funds lol, will get there though 💪 I'll hit you up soon mate. I am a born and bred New Englander who recently relocated to Florida. I was in London about 20 years ago and since then have been learning what I can from British TV/Film (The Thick Of It, Still Game, and one of my favorites is Auf Wiedersehen Pet) my buddy Rab from Falkirk turned me onto it. I can recognize Geordie, Cockney, Scouser, Scottish and a few other accents. I wanted to put together a "clapped out 1969 Ford Zephyr" r/c for him like the one they drove to Germay in Auf Wiedersehen Pet. If I can't find an SD-1 body in stock I might try the Zephyr.
